I am thrilled to find this on Drugstore.com as I could not find this product at a local pharmacy. I am a dedicated long distance walker, out in the sun yearound, and could not find a sunscreen that did not burn my eyes until I tried this product.

I bought this product for my 3 year old daughter who has fine blonde hair. Earlier this year her scalp got burned along her part during a visit to the beach. I had to use zinc oxide on the area the next day, and it took over a week of daily hair washing to get the stuff out. Banana Boat Sport Spray has been wonderful. I spray it along her part before swimming or outdoor play. It doesn't appear greasy, and I don't notice it when I wash my daughter's hair. Best of all, she has not had any more problems with sunburn on her scalp. I went to several local stores and could not find this product. Thank you Drugstore.com for carrying it.

This is my favorite sunscreen--great for the beach. I keep one in each car so we are ready at any time. And I love that it's a spray, not an aerosol, so you don't use an entire bottle in one outing. It's hard to find so I order in bulk.

I've tried many sunscreen products looking for the one that I like best. Despite good reviews, most others I've tried are messy to apply, leave me feeling like I'm wrapped in Vaseline, and are just unpleasant. This one goes on clear rather than a messy white color, is easy to apply, and does an excellent job of protecting from sun overexposure. An added benefit is that it comes with a pump applicator, avoiding the added cost of a pressurized container. I did not check "waterproof" or "sweatproof" under the "pros" section since none of the sunscreens are perfect in that regard, although this one does a good job with those characteristics as well.

I actually bought this for my daughter--she is always getting a sunburn on her scalp and when she blowdries her hair it is painful. She says it is great in that it doesn't feel greasy or weigh her hair down. However , she does claim that the hair surrounding the scalp area feels a little stiff afterward. No big deal, she just brushes it out. She also colors and highlights her hair and it doesn't remove the color at all.

I found this product by researching online good scalp-protection SPF products. I noticed it had decent reviews so I decided to try it.

The reason I searched to begin with was because my husband and I were going to Disney World, FL for eight days. I have fair skin and it never fails that my scalp will sunburn within the first day of summer sun exposure, which is really painful (I do have medium/long hair). I don't like wearing a hat because I have acne-prone skin and I'll break out where the hat touches my forehead. Plus, I have bangs and there's no fixing them if we duck in somewhere to get something to eat. I also don't like putting regular sunscreen in my part because it makes my bangs super greasy looking (not a pretty sight).

Anyway, I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I didn't burn AT ALL and had no need for my emergency hat. I never had to reapply despite being out in the 95+ degree heat all day. My part would have a pink/tan hue at night after I showered but never stung as I brushed my hair or peeled. Any slight pink hue would be gone by morning (I suppose this could be avoided completely if you reapply).

I just sprayed this around my bangs where my scalp was exposed (my hair was in a ponytail) and down the middle where I part my bangs. I then used a travel brush and brushed through my bangs once or twice and it didn't even look like I had sunscreen on my head! I definitely recommend it for this use.

Well, we ran out of our "go to" sunscreen toward the end our trip and had to use this on our arms, shoulders and legs for one day. It worked well for UVA/UVB protection for being only 30 SPF. It definitely has an unpleasant odor, though, and we were grossing ourselves out. I wouldn't use it on my body again. But when it's only on my scalp, I don't smell it at all, especially after it dries.

I wouldn't recommend it for body (unless you don't mind the smell), but for the scalp it's a must! I'll be using this on my part whenever I'm in the sun for an extended period of time.

This product is alcohol-based and as thin as water. That's a great thing. It sprays on in a fine mist from the pump and spreads easily everywhere. It's not a gel, it's not greasy. It dries fast. It has a very faint scent.

My husband uses this on his scalp due to his thinning hair. He has hated almost all other sprays we have tried as being too greasy in the hair. This one is good.

This is the least greasy sport sunscreen I've ever used. I love that the product is a clear liquid that doesn't require rubbing-in and not some greasy feeling lotion.
