This product isn't too bad if you are in a jam and can't get a spray tan. I did two coats with a sponge because using my hands leaves streaks. I think I will get the light color next time because it was a little to dark for me, looked slightly orange.

I use this product a few times a week after showering and absolutely love it. It's pretty dark to use every day and doesn't moisture a ton so I use normal moisturizer the days I don't apply it.

When applying, I use a circular motion and almost never have any unevenness (the only part to watch is around the wrists). I also put it on the top of my hands so everything matches. It goes on fairly quickly, almost as quick as a normal lotion and only needs a few minutes to dry so I usually put on my makeup before getting dressed. *Make sure to wash you hands afterwards or your palms will look orange.

The color is really great and you can chose how often to apply it which lets you decide how tan you want to be. People constantly say I have beautiful tan skin even in the winter, they don't know that this is my secret :-)

I applied this lotion the day before yesterday and was so impressed with the color! It gave me the perfect sun-kissed look in the middle of winter and didn't leave any streaks! Then my own stupidity and greed set in and I decided to apply it again yesterday although my color had not at all faded and still looked amazing - and now I am WAY too dark and almost orange (think Jersey Shore). Being subtle in most things that I do, the dark tan is a bit embarrassing and people know I didn't just get back from a vacation. Hopefully with some exfoliation, the color will fade. In the future, I will stick with only one application and wait until it fades to apply another! Putting my mistake aside, this product is great and really a steal considering the price.

I have never used self tanner because I was scared of looking like an oompa loompa. This stuff gave my body a very natural looking tan. I applied it before bed and when I woke up I was a little scared cause my face did appear a little orange, but after I washed it, it was fine. My body looked so freshly tanned, my face was not so noticeable until I took a photo and seen the big difference. It has only been a day so I can't comment on how long it will last, but honestly if I have to reapply a couple times a week, it is totally worth it to keep this look. I was going to start with the light to medium color, but did not have time to develop a color and I am glad I got this one.

Oh I exfoliated first, shaved my legs and applied it after towel drying. It was easy to apply. I did wash my hands about 6 times while putting it on my whole body. My hands still got a little color but not enough to notice.

I have to say there really was no scent to it, but my husband said it smelled good.

I want to also say that I am a fair skinned girl of Mexican descent. (hope that is not personal info, but thought that may help others)

This is a great self-tanner. I don't like the smell too much, but after another shower after application, it goes away. I like that it works super quick, usually color shows up in 4 hrs! It's also very nice and dark, even after just one or two uses. If you're naturally pale like me, I'd recommend only applying it once or twice in a row and reapplying every 5-7 days to maintain color. If you apply more shades than that, it will start to look unnatural. And like I said, this stuff is already extremely dark to begin with! :)

Question though--The color looks a little splotchy in natural light; not sunlight, but if it's an overcast day or something. Anyone know why this happens and how to prevent it? I hope I'm not the only one who has noticed how streaky it often looks in natural light.
If anyone can tell me what's going on with this, please let me know!

I have light skin, but tan easily. I have used this daily as part of my routine for years. I see comments about uneven or streaking. This has a slight tint to it so you can tell where it has been applied. Of course if you dont apply it evenly you will get uneven results. It super easy to use. After cleansing face apply just like moisturizer. Use a tissue to keep off eye brows, lip area, and lower eye area. be sure to rinse off hands as it will "tan" the palms.

It does fade if not used regularly,but its not meant to be permanent.

I find the color to be very natural, no orange tint, dries quickly, and doesnt rub off on clothes.

This is definitely the best self tanning product that I have used and I have tried a number of different products. You get a very good tan with the first application and it does not rub off on your bed linens as most other self-tanners do. I highly recommend it.

This is simply the best self-tanner I have tried, and the price is great compared to others on the market. With one application, I got dark, even, quick (2 hours!) color. It is tinted, so you can see right where it goes and gives immediate color. The smell is subtle and the lotion dried right away. The tanner I was using before was bought at a huge markdown, but, I had to apply 3-4x for the same shade, and wait 10+ min to dry completely, even then, it was slightly tacky to the touch. And this color really lasts. It has been 4 days and I have a very light (yet surprisingly even!) fade. I really hope this product is never discontinued, it really has no cons!

This formulation is better than other more expensive self tanners I've used in the past. It's thicker but applies evenly and provides streakless color. And considering the very inexpensive price, it's a great buy.
