For external use only. Do not spray directly into face. Flammable: do not use near heat, flame, or while smoking. When using this product, avoid spraying in eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Do not puncture or incinerate. Contents under pressure. Do not store at temperatures above 120°F. Stop use and ask a doctor if irritation or rash develops.
Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Sun protection measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. -2 p.m. and wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses. Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor. For use on skin only.

We first tried this at our 10 day trip to the beach in Texas. My family and I are extremely fair skinned, and we do burn easily. It worked great for me, my husband, and my two grade school kids. We applied it very generously to our whole bodies, including face and scalp. We found you have put it on before you leave the house, not when you get to the beach/pool or you will get burned (this is pretty standard for sunscreen though). We also found it worked better when we did rub it in, even though it says not too. Don't spray it full strength on any plastics - my hair clip and sunglasses did not like it. Finally, be aware the cap can easily untwist in your bag and get spray all over. I kept it in a side pocket after that. We have continued using it daily for summer camp and swimming.

I am very fair, but I have golden undertones and I don't burn easily. I use sunscreens more as protection against sun damage and skin cancer than sunburn. This sunscreen has the highest spf I've ever seen, so it caught my attention and I decided to try it. I used this sunscreen during a day at the beach (sitting under an umbrella 90% of the time), reapplied it 3 times, and I ended up with painful red splotches of sunburn.
My husband, who is even paler than me and never tans, used this before a hike on a sunny day and it worked great for him.
The only other time I've had sunburn as an adult was a few years ago, when I used Banana Boat Baby sunscreen and it was the same thing-- red splotches of sunburn. I've determined that there's something in their products that I must be reacting to, because I can use much lower spf products from Coppertone, Aveeno and Neutrogena without burning.
I would buy this again for my husband, but I won't be trying any more Banana Boat products myself.
