TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS TO BUY THIS!!!!! Spread the word so it won't ever be discontinued!!!! I love my shoes - pointy toed ones, high heels, flats etc. However I've been close to throwing out all of them because I always get blisters on my little toes and on the side of my big toes. Its so bad that I cannot wear closed-toed shoes in the summer at all, and many sandals as well because of the location of the straps. Someone recommended this to me - she wears closed-toed shoes year round without hosiery or socks - even in the humid miserable summers in Washington DC. This product has saved my feet. I can now wear closed-toed shoes in the summer!!! If its especially hot and humid and you're walking alot, you should reapply. The stick is smaller than a stick of gum, so its easy to carry around in your purse!

A MUST BUY PRODUCT!!!!

I read all these wonderful reviews and expect this stuff to work miracles. But, I wore a new pair of flat loafers for the first time and they were rubbing my pinky toes. I have had to keep reapplying all day. I think it's helping, but not like everyone else listed. The stick is very convenient and it smells really, really good. I didn't think I'd have to keep putting it on. So, it's just ok.

Comments about Band-Aid Active Friction Block Stick, .34 oz:

The Friction Block Stick is so easy to use. Just glide it over the areas a shoe might rub, sandals or the heel of a shoe, and go. It prevents blisters or raw spots from occurring. I bought it for travel but found some shoes just rub. I just apply after my shower and can go with no painful results. It is small enough to tuck into the smallest of purses.

I use this whenever I run. It's not just great for feet - I apply it wherever there are seams that chafe me during a run (inner thighs, underarms near the sport bra etc.). I highly recommend it!!!

Comments about Band-Aid Active Friction Block Stick, .34 oz:

This is great for wearing sandals that are extremely painful to walk in. I had these sandals that were cute but the soles made me get blisters so I would not be able to wear them during long walks. But after buying this, I was able to walk long distances without feeling any pain or getting blisters.

This is the best product to prevent blisters and sore feet! I use it all over my feet, wherever the shoe might normally rub or feel too tight. Strappy heels and cute flats are no match for this stuff. I keep one at home, one in the car and one in my purse!

                    Band-Aid Active Friction Block Stick

                     – Breaking in a new pair of shoes or exercising at the gym may lead to friction-induced injuries like blisters or chafing. In order to prevent these painful problems, you need to reduce the amount of rubbing between your clothes or shoes and your skin. Band-Aid Active Friction Block Stick uses a unique lubricating formula to consistently prevent the excessive friction responsible for many common skin injuries. Easy to apply, this product provides long-lasting protection.

                    Prevent Blisters and Chafing

Skin injuries caused by excess friction can be inconvenient, painful, and potentially dangerous. Blisters, for example, may become infected once they pop, and chafing might make it difficult for you to participate in your favorite activities. To prevent excess friction, Band-Aid Active Friction Block Stick decreases the amount that external irritants are able to rub against your skin. Ideal for use on your feet or ankles when you are wearing a pair of shoes that tend to rub uncomfortably, this product easily glides across your skin. Its non-messy formula leaves an invisible barrier that makes it the perfect choice for open shoes. Band-Aid Active Friction Block Stick won't stain clothes or make your skin slippery.

                    Company History and Philosophy

Invented in 1920 by Earle Dickson, an employee of Johnson & Johnson, Band-Aid brand adhesive bandages revolutionized the way people could dress their own minor wounds at home. Dickson first created the bandages to help his wife, but he soon pitched the idea to his boss. Almost immediately, the first Band-Aids were born. For almost a century, Johnson & Johnson has continued to innovate its Band-Aid products. In addition to traditional bandages, the company now makes products that are designed to specifically promote the healing of burns, blisters, punctures, and various other wounds. It has also recently transitioned into injury prevention with products like Band-Aid Active Friction Block Stick.
