These bandages are the best! They stay on, are comfortable, and are nice and big. I like that the pad goes all the way to the edge of the adhesive so the sticky part can't touch the edge of the wound. They are great for feet if your shoes are rubbing or uncomfortable. Super stretchy to fit curves and flexible for fingers. I trim them down if I need a smaller bandage.

Comments about Band-Aid Flexible Fabric Bandages, All One Size (1 Inch), 100 ea:

I could not find these flexible fabric bandages any place. All of my stores stocked the tough strips which are thicker and a strange color. I found the ones I needed here at drugstore.com at a very reasonable price. I purchased 5 boxes because I am concerned that the Band-aid company is discontinuing the flexible fabric 1" Band-aids in the 100 pack box. Yes, these bandages are out there, but they are in boxes with other sizes. If you are lucky, you might get five 1" band-aids in the box. Due to a surgery, I need 2 every day. This was the best offer around and the delivery was very quick. Thanks drugstore.com!!

Last through the day even when wet.
            Great protection.
Don't know what we'd do without a supply handy.
            Did I say breathable?
Can't tell your wearing one until you smack the site of a wound and DON'T see stars!

I have dry skin. When I have my hands in water too much, cold weather, my skin on the fingers crack very bad. These are the best Band-aids ever. They are thick and adhere well, until I get them wet, but that's okay!! I just put on new ones. That's why I buy soooo many.

I am using a prescription steroid and moisturizer to get rid of some calousing on my fingers. The dermatologist suggested I cover it with the sticky (not absorbant) part of a bandaid to keep the product on my fingers as longs as possible. These bandaids are extra large - wide and long - and work great for this use. They are an attractive skin color and kind of blend in, but most importantly they open and go on really easily. I was having to use two of other bandaids and not getting good results. I love these. They would also be excellent if you had to cover up a cut or other injury.

Once my husband and I started using fabric band-aids we never used any other kind. Why? They stay on until you remove them yourself. All other bandages we used come off when you get them wet, even the ones advertised to not do that. Fabric band-aids stay put for days even through showers and many hand-washings. The edges do fray and it is annoying but all you have to do it cut off the stragglers.

Band-Aid® Flexible Fabric Bandages, All One Size (1 Inch)

                           – Keep minor cuts and scrapes clean and safe from infection with Band-Aid Flexible Fabric Bandages, All One Size (1 Inch). The pads feature Quiltvent® technology to wick away fluids. The adhesive strips are made with stretchable and comfortable Memory-Weave® fabric. They're guaranteed to be sterile, too, as long as the wrapper is unopened and undamaged.

                          Promoting Healing

Some people believe that a minor cut or scrape should be left uncovered so that the wound can be "aired out" and achieve better healing. However, extensive research has shown that even minor wounds may heal faster and better - with less likelihood of infection or scarring - if they are cleaned, treated and kept covered. This easy-to-follow, 3-step method begins with a thorough washing of the wound with mild soap and water. Next, an antibiotic spray or salve helps protect the wound from infection. Last, and just as important, the cut or scrape should be kept covered to prevent dirt and infecting agents from entering the wound and to also prevent rubbing, that may re-open a cut.

Over 90 Years of Band-Aid® Brand

The concept of a ready-made adhesive bandage was invented in 1920 by Josephine and Earle Dickson of New Brunswick, New Jersey. Instead of making each bandage by hand every time one was needed, Earle - who was a cotton buyer at Johnson & Johnson - took a longer strip of adhesive tape and placed a piece of gauze on the strip at intervals, protecting the pre-fabricated strip with a long piece of crinoline (an open-weave cotton fabric with a stiffening fill). Whenever a bandage was needed, all Josephine needed to do was cut a bandage to length, strip off the protective piece and apply it to the wound. The Band-Aid® was born!
