Stays on, flexes with you. Ideal for more challenging areas like the joints and thighs, but still easy to remove. The design which does not seal on all sides gives it more versatility. The non-stick surface extends to 2 sides making it good for wounds that don't fit perfectly within and making it useful as well for narrow, longer wounds by using several of these long side to long side.

The little bit of padding is nice for various small sore injuries, like blisters, or if something rubs you a little. I also like how these are not sticky on 4 sides, only 2. You can apply 2+ back to back. You can swim, they really do stay on in water, just be careful where you swim with a cut as you can introduce all sorts of infections in fresh water and ocean water, a chlorine pool is your best bet. The only negative, I expected them to stick better, especially since they are called sports. I hike very regularly. If my pack rubs or my boots rub, and I put one of these on a blister, these do not stick well enough, ie they slip off almost immediately with minimal rubbing, totally defeating the purpose. Or if I jog with a blister, they rub right off. Otherwise for swimming, they are excellent. I'd like to add that I'm a CNA, I know how to apply a bandage. Clean the area, I use soap and water at home, to get off any dirt, also to clean off oils from skin, and any lotions, so the bandage sticks. Then dry the area very thoroughly. Last apply a little anti-bac salve or petro jelly, I usually apply straight to the sterile bandage, avoid touching my always dirty fingers to the salve tube, and avoid touching the cut, plus I avoid over applying salve which can cause the bandage to slide right off. Apply bandage. I wish these worked for me as well as they seem to work for everyone else. I will continue to buy them for swimming. I prefer a tough strip with mole skin over top for hiking or jogging, now that sticks!

It is hard to place on a rounded area. Soon it crinkles and comes loose. This requires changing 2 or 3 times a day.

These are the only Band-Aid line I buy anymore. They are the only ones that stay on after at least 24 hours and even through a shower or two.

I have arthritis and use Lidocaine strips on my finger at night to reduce the bumps and cover with these Sport Strips - I am a senior so have used Band Aids for a lifetime. For awhile couldn't get a decent sticking bandaid then found these. Nothing like them for all uses requiring a bandaid.

These bandaids have better healthy simulated skin texture than what I have on my hands. The foam type is very realistic, so natural can forget they are on. Go out of my way to get them, all others seem inferior.

Comments about Band-Aid Sport Strip Bandages, Extra Wide, 30 ea:

These "Extra Wide" Band-aids are exactly the same dimensions in every respect, including the pad, as any 1" by 3" Band-aid product, whether vinyl or flexible fabric. I suspect that the "Extra Wide" claim is an intentional lie because the width is not stated anywhere in the product description. Other Band-aids do include the length and width dimensions in their descriptions.

Furthermore, I am very disappointed that Band-aid has replaced the former non-stick smooth pad with this three-dimensional "Quiltvent" pad on just about every kind of Band-aid product. I don't need for a wound or scab to form molded into a hexagonal pattern. I plan to completely abandon these "Quiltvent" Band-aids in favor of other brands with normal smooth pads.

These band-aids are alright. I have to polysporin on my wound then cover it with a band-aid, and these as soon as it hits the polysporin it starts to slip and slide off....If you have to have ointment with a band-aid I would highly reccomend buying the flexible fabric ones, now those stay on! And come off easily!

The "sport strips" band-aids are by far the best, waterproof band-aids and hold up through almost anything.

These seem to be hard to find in most stores now. Their so called "tough strips" are no match for the sport strips!
