I did not have any irritation with this product, however, I did have issues as another reviewer with the packaging. I'm in rush in the morning and found that I have to leave the cap very loose or I can't pull it off. Very frustrating. Another note, is that I have never used any cosmetic item in two weeks, but that's all it lasted me! I would have thought I purchased a sample and not the full size product. Does not apply smooothly leaving a streaky texture. Terrible. Will not repurchase.

I use this primer everyday because it works so well at keeping my eye makeup looking good. It prevents my eye shadow from creasing and wearing off. At the end of the day my eye shadow and liner look just like they did when I put them on. It's easy to apply too. I just put a little on my fingertip and smooth over each eyelid. You really don't need much because it's silky smooth and a little goes a long way.

This primer goes on silky smooth and blends in great. Works great w/BE shadows but not so well with solid shadows. BUT it contains Bismuth Oxychloride, a heavy metal, which is a known skin irritant. After applying this primer my eyes began to burn about an hour later. It took me a while to figure out it was this primer- I used an eyeshadow w/o bismuth oxy directly onto my lids and was able to sleep all night w/o any irritation. Next day I wore only this primer and had to wash it off after @4hrs and it left my eyelids pink and puffy :-(
Also the applicator is useless- it clogs up and after having to wipe away a glob of dried up primer, you still need to use your fingertips to apply it evenly enough. In order to use what little is inside the applicator you need to break off the tip and use a thin concealer brush to use the rest of the product (which is approx 1/4 left) and then replace the tip and keep it sealed tight so it won't dry up. They repacked it into tubes which solves the packaging but there's still bismuth oxy in it along with many of their eyeshadows, foundations, etc :-(

I can guarantee your eyeshadow/eyeliner will stay put the entire day if you use this stuff. It's truly amazing. I have naturally oily skin/eyelids, and do not have a problem with creasing/fading of my eye makeup when i use this primer. The only drawback - it works so well that if you mess up your eyeshadow application, you can jsut "erase" your mistake. You'd need to remove the eye makeup entirely and start over.

I find it comes off easily with DHCs Deep CLeaning oil.

I loved the first tube I used of this product. When I ran out, I purchased another tube and was tremendously disappointed. I found the cap very difficult to remove. In attempting to remove the cap, I would unintentionally dispense some of the primer, which would end up smeared inside the cap. Once the cap was off, the sponge applicator was not as soft -- or the primer was not as moist -- as with the first tube. I'd use my finger to apply the primer, and if I didn't blend quickly enough, the primer would look cakey and appear slightly yellow. Once properly applied, it did the job adequately, but I never bought a third tube. I switched to Urban Decay primer, which I find completely satisfactory and easy to use (and easy to open).

I love this product! I have naturally oily eyelids and Prime Time solves my problem. Whether I'm wearing eyeshadow or not, once I apply Prime Time in the morning my eyelids remain oil-free all day and night. Eye shadow stays in place and doesn't settle in creases. This product can last a long time because you don't need much. I use very little and I apply it with my middle fingers, not the applicator. That way I can be sure it is applied to my entire eyelid area. Usually one turn of the applicator is enough for both eyes.

the actual applicator contraption thing is the WORST!!wasteful, ineffective, and probably costs a [*] lot more to make than just a practical little tube (like the travel size).

I can't believe I waited this long to get this Primer. After working 12 hours, my eye shadow looks just as it did when I applied it! It works great!

This primer worked great -- until my eyes started stinging and watering. I'm sad. It really does make shadow last a very long time on my super-oily skin. But I tried many times, and every time my eyes started stinging and watering within an hour of application. The stinging lasts until I completely remove the product. I had the same problem with Urban Decay's primer, so I must be sensitive to one of the ingredients.[...]
