Due to the high price, I was expecting a quality polish to use as a good weekly base coat IN PLACE of colored polish to hide ridges and strengthen nails.
This stuff goes on smoothly, but it dries to a semi-matte (very low-shine finish)... which I could live with ... EXCEPT that the color is slightly yellowish.
Why would anybody want their nails to appear sickly pale yellow? It looks bad - not healthy or natural.
Since it's expensive stuff, I didn't want to throw it out, so I added some red polish trying to negate the yellow. Unfortunately, I added too much and now it is candy pink. If you try this, just add 2 drops.
Lastly, it chips easily - does not wear well.

I live and work on a farm. It is impossible to wear colored polish but my nails are ridged and catch on gloves and clothing. When I wear Barielle Camouflage my nails are smooth and look natural but enhanced. I've just purchased my second bottle and I plan to never be without it. The first bottle lasted a very long time.

I just put this stuff on and I can't believe the results. I have deep horizontal ridges due to picking at my cuticles and it filled them in with the first coat. The color is just slightly opaque and moderately shiny (not matte like some people suggested). It can definitely be worn alone although it's basically clear. I gave it time to dry like some people suggested, and it really didn't take long. I'm typing with no problems at 30 minutes and 2 coats. Highly recommend!

This is the best nail product I have found on the market. I have very thin, peeling, brittle nails. All the other products on the market that are supposed to help with this issue seem to make my problem worse. But this product is amazing! Adheres to the nail.

It really does look natural.Nails look smooth and healthy. Not obvious like a clear nail polish. Also lasts a long time. Does not feel like clear nail polish or wear out like regular polish. Best discription is a matte-like finish that looks natural.

In the picture, the product is pink.
The actual color is ugly pale yellow/beige.
I will be returning this.

Shipment took 9 days to arrive. A small (1 lb.) box would take about 2 days via US Mail.
But FedEx/Smartpost was used.
Also, the order did not ship immediately.

I bought this to address a permanent tiny chip on the edge of one nail which necessitates keeping the nail short and constantly filing the unevenness. As long as Barielle is on the nail, the edge feels smooth. I wore 3 coats for two weeks with no visible wear on the polish. Drying time between coats does seem long to me, but then this is my first time to use any nail product so maybe I have not realistically judged what is a long wait between coats. The color is a very, very sheer beige; I would prefer a slightly more pink tint and a bit less shine. Also removing the product required a lot of rubbing, maybe because I wore 3 coats? Bottom line, I'm satisfied and will continue to use Barielle Nail Camouflage.

I'm finishing my first and last bottle. I only use a natural nail polish on my hands since all polishes chip very easily. I save the bright, trendy stuff for when I have a pedicure.

Overall, I concur with the reviews which state it has a soft, long lasting finish. The reason for the low rating is that this product takes a ridiculous amount of time to dry. I put a coat on yesterday on clean dry nails, and twenty minutes later it's still tacky and soft to the touch.

I have yet to apply this product without having to redo two to three nails because I think it should be dry but it's not. This is with one coat only. If I apply a second coat several days later it takes over 30 minutes to dry.

I bought some Essie yesterday after taking the product off, applied two coats and in ten minutes I was okay to start doing things again without the fear of ruining the polish.

I don't usually write reviews, but I absolutely love this product. It actually stays on, fills any ridges in my nails and lasts all week with maybe a coat or two applied during the week. ! It looks great, natural and keeps my nails in good shape. Nail Camouflage allows me to NOT have to use acrylics. My nails have some ridges (especially thumbs) that would split before, but this product has transformed my nails. YAY!!!
