I love this product. I use it for multiple things, including:
facial moisturizer
hand lotion
hair conditioner
oil pulling
cooking oil
etc...

I just wish it came in a glass jar instead of a plastic container, but not a big deal.

I love to cook with and use coconut oil on my skin. This was GREAT for skin, but a little too coconut smelling for food cooking. I use a different brand for cooking.

I heard about the benefits of using coconut oil on your hair and skin but I was skeptical but I decided to give this product a try. I am happy that I did try it. I am African American so my hair is course.. very thick and has a life of its own. I use this product about twice a day in the morning when I wake up and at night when i go to bed. I apply it to my roots, hair and the end of my ends. I have medium length hair. My hair has been soft and manageable. I also use this for my body and my boyfriend loves how it makes me smell good plus my skin is always soft.

Also when I flat iron my hair I apply it to my ends and it makes my hair very soft and managable. I love it!!!..

I have also used it to fry foods with as I bought two bottles the first time. I used it to fry my salmon and even tried it frying french fries... the house ended up smelling like coconut oil though... (lol) and there was no coconut oil after taste on the food in case you are wondering...

This is a multi-functional product for me. I use it daily on my natural hair (I am African American), it adds sheen and keeps my hair soft all day. I also use it daily instead of lotion. My skin is very soft, even on my upper arms where I have kp(keratosis pilaris). I've tried several brands of coconut oil over the years, this is the best-by far.

Have heard the great benefits of coconut oil. So far, am using in place of olive oil when frying. A new treat to perk up your toast in place of butter. Recently my face has started breaking out & although doesn't appear to be excessively oily, am getting large pimples. Skin tone is becoming red & blotchy. Using the coconut oil as an evening moisturizer. Have noticed my skin tone is starting to return to its normal color. Skin does not feel as "touchy" or sensitive any more. Am satisfied with the product & will continue to use and experiment. Have already recommended product to my friends. Love the ability to leave on my kitchen counter as a reminder, without the product breaking down. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

I have used this product for cooking and ingesting, and for hair and skin care.

Cooking/Ingesting - used in tea, coffee and cooking meals (in place of Olive Oil and Vegetable oil. Very pleased with end products - there was not a heavy coconut taste (I even used it when making my morning eggs!) Eating it raw - was tasty, but I personally do not like the texture when eating raw. I noticed an improvement in my dry skin within 24 hours of ingesting 3 Tbs.

Skin Care - rubbed on dry elbows and heals to ease dry skin. WOrked like a charm.

Hair Care - Left on hair in a shower cap overnight, with towel wrapped around. Hair was shampoed the next morning - Soft, shiny (not greasy) and seemed fuller.

Overall: Very satisfied with this product and will purchase again.

I add the coconut oil to my tea every morning. saw an episode of dr. oz and dr. perricone was on talking about the benefits of coconut oil. they suggested adding to your tea, which is now what i do.

I bought coconut oil for my dry skin on my arms related to Keratosis Pilaris This was my first time using Barlean's, but I won't buy it again. The conistency isn't as smooth as other brands and it is quite flaky and chunky like an old bar of soap.
