I use the product 3or 4 times a week and enjoy that it cleans evenly my combination skin. Also the product doesn't sting when being applied. I don't like that if I leave the product on too longer that about seven minutes it starts to sting the sensitive less oily parts such as my cheeks. A moisturizer is recommended after cleaning as it may dry out the face for those who don't have oily skin and or sensitive skin.

Bought this after reading the reviews of how good it was. Mm, this cleanser is pretty good; It leaves your skin feeling clean and fresh. And I absolutely love the citrus-like smell! However, it can be a bit drying, especially around my nose. It's a great cleanser for removing make-up, but perhaps not something I will use for days when I am not wearing any make-up. Overall, wonderful product!

This cleans as it should and better than the other 50 products I've tried. Lathers and rinses well leaving no residue. Not overly strong and doesn't aggravate my oiliness. The foam becomes the color of makeup as it removes all traces of concealer and makeup & sunscreen. You will need to apply moisturizer even if you have oily or combination skin, but it leaves no residue to interfere with your acne or anti-aging products. Don't stop making this product!!

Lathers and rinses well, but I noticed as the air became dryer, my skin became tight and flaky. Switched to a non-foaming, no mineral oil (too greasy), cream cleanser which, I have learned, makes a rich moisturizer unnecessary.

I've been using it for years. I was very disappointed when I couldn't purchase it at the store I used to. A friend suggested Drugstore.com and Basis and I were reunited! The price is GREAT too! I use it EVERY day when I shower!!

This face wash is excellent. It removes all my makeup and cleans my face at the same time. I tend to break out d/t clogged pores... but not with this cleaner. Have been a Clinique user forever.. but this is BETTER than anything they have to offer and its half the price. Its not drying yet not oily either.

This is my FIRST review on drugstore or any other websites. I was so excited after reading all the positive reviews because I had a feeling that this product would work.

The reason I decided to buy basis because of acne. I have been using basis twice a day for 2 months straight. I didn't quit because I learn that patience is the key to success, but until today, I'm pretty disappointed with the result. It did have any good effects on my teen acne. I got random break-outs and basis could not stop or prevent the problem. It also left my face dry unless I had on moisturizer.

I think this product was not made for ME. I know my review does not help any of you at ALL because just like you, I always disregard negative reviews. But like I said, basis is not for me, probably not YOU, my friends.
I'm still glad that it is a "savior" for many of reviewers :)
Give it a shot. It might be worth it for you :) And best of luck!

P.S. I love the smell of it and how clean it made my face feel though.

I got a sample of this product about six years ago and have not used anything else since! It is gentle on my combination skin and works for my teenage daughter's as well. We have tried many others from high end cosmetics to discount store brands. This is one that works consistently and does not dry out my skin.
