Like another reviewer, I remember this as being better in the past than it is now. I haven't used it in maybe a decade, and I remember a fresh, woodsy scent. Now, it's not quite so fresh ... can't describe it, but it's simply not as pleasant - maybe more of a harsh/chemical smell.

I dilute my scented bath salts with just plain epsom salts (to stretch the dollar) -- and even so, I found the scent too strong and it left a little bit of a residue in the tub.

I'll certainly finish using what I bought (it's not AWFUL) but will be checking out other brands in the future.

This is NOT the same product that used to be sold under this name. The ingredients differ from the old product, and the results do as well. This used to be the best thing for muscle soreness. Soaking in a hot bath with a handful of these crystals was unbelievably effective. This new jar looks almost the same but doesn't smell the same, and seems to be just another jar of bath salts. It colors the water and is slightly oily feeling. I'll use it rather than send it back, but I'm disappointed. I had been looking for this for some time, as it seemed to be unavailable for a long time. I wish they were still producing the original, not this.

I cannot brag enough about this great bath salt that I have used for 15 yrs. It is the only reasonably priced product that I have found that doesn't make too many bubbles in my whirlpool tub. It smells great and makes my soft skin even softer. My husband tells me my skin feels like baby skin and I am over 50 already. I can't say if it is the salts or my genes.

I've used this product for a while and for the most part, enjoy it. The ONLY negative is the underlying "sulphur" smell. I have a sensitive nose and I don't enjoy that "eggy" smell, but since I've used this product for years, it must not bother me THAT much. I do feel as though it helps to relax my tense muscles and I DO like the product.
In an effort to "mask" the smell, I usually add a similiar-scented product to the bathwater (something with a mint, euculyptus-type scent works well).
If you're looking for a yummy smelling bath, this probably isn't the product for you, but if you're looking to relax sore muscles, I would definitely recommend it.

I do physical labour all day, climbing scaffolding to paint murals. By the end of day I am sore and can barely move a muscle. This product totally soothes my tired muscles, relaxes me and does not dry my skin. It is terrific. I have tired everything from scented epsom salts to bath salt. Nothing else works this good.
