I keep 2 containers in use as I inject 4 times a day. One is near where I take my meals and the other in my bedroom. The containers are small and can even be covered with a simple sack with a cinch top if one wants greater privacy. They are also provide a safe and simple method of storing medical waste until you can drop them off at appropriate toxic waste locations.

I use this as my Home Sharps container. My community has no specific rules about sharps and I have tried several alternatives. I was going to scout camp and I wanted something that looked "official" So I bought one. I can use almost any container to dispose sharps in my community but this is such a great container that I am choosing to pay for it rather than use a juice bottle. The lid has two openings made to fit syringes or pen needles, the pen needle one has grips so you can unscrew the pen needle without risking a poke. The disposal lid says just snap it on it is permanent. I suspect that I will tape it any way just in case. It is much better than other containers that I have bought.

I keep one of these at home and one in my desk at work. I love knowing that my little granddaughter cannot get to the pen tips. It takes a very long time to fill it as I only inject twice a day.
