There is no chance of anyone getting accidently stuck. Once the needle is in, it's there for good. I keep one at home, one in the office and one in my travel bag. They are inexpensive so this is easy to do plus, they hold up to 1500 needles! This is way better than using other sharps containers. I wish they made one to use for lancets.

I'm diabetic and my municipality has no rules or programs for sharps disposal. I clip all my needles because it is inexpensive and because it makes the remaining syringe much safer to have around, even in a sharps container. The clipper has a 1500 needle capacity. At my usage that would take 50 months to fill or about 4 years. My last one wore out after about 2 years. The clipper just cant "cut it" any more. Still this is an excellent bargain at under $5.

I think it would be hard to use if you have any vision trouble or shaking hands. I also would not be comfortable using it with someone else's needles. I have never stuck myself using it and I have no depth perception.

If your community accepts clipped syringes in the trash this could save you a bundle.

A great device, easy to use, very portable, take with you to use at resturants, hotels, rest rooms etc. Dorsn't take up the room that a sharps contaneer uses.

They advertise the product for people with Diabetes, but it has been a blessing for myself. I have to take daily injections for my MS, and the sharps containers were difficult to dispose of, and big and bulky.

This product is also great for travel.

I have been giving myself allergy shots weekly for 2 1/2 years and this a nice gadget to have. In my area there seems to be difficulty in disposal of sharps, I worried about someone coming in contact with a used needle. This is great because it is small and holds a large volume of needles. I take this when I travel as there are very few airports with sharps disposal containers in the bathrooms.

Much smaller than a sharps container and I feel safer clipping the needles off since I have a child in the house. I'm on daily pre-filled injectibles.

This item is small, and doesn't take up much room in addition to my other diabetic supplies. I consider it a must for anyone who has to take injections.
