I purchased this for my daughter's 10th bday. She absolutely loved it. It had to be pretty easy for her to use, because I really didn't get to help her with any of it! I thought it would be a good activity for she and I to do together, but she disappeared with it, and enjoyed it by herself.
The only thing she said was she wished it had more of the snow, because that was really cool. I would definitely buy it again, and suggest to others.

I purchased this for my 4yr old daughter. She was so excited to use it. Overall, I don't feel the instructions given were very clear, as far as measurements go. The colored crystals were fun and creating different colors were fun too. The snow was fun although after you make the snow, there isn't really anything you can do w/ it. The sand is interesting but if you have Aqua Sand, it's the same exact thing, so she wasn't so impressed w/ that because she already has played with Aqua Sand. We still haven't grown the dinosaur yet but overall, she enjoyed most of this kit. Like I said, the instructions seemed a little vague but maybe that was just me.

My daughter loved it, has very good concept...It is nice because you can do a small project every night. It gives a bit of science terminology without going into so mucy understanding and provides manageable projects.

My kids (ages 10 & 11) played with this over a long weekend. It kept them busy for hours! Originally, I was worried about the mess and laid newspaper over the table to protect it. And I thought I would have to monitor them the entire time. Turns out, it wasn't messy at all. And they were good to go all on their own. After spending 2 days with the kit, they've set up a "science table" in their playroom and are super excited about learning more.

Even after all the solutions ran out, the directions offered fun activities and games the kids can do with the empty "test tubes."

This is a fun, interactive activity for kids. I'm going to buy several to have on hand for gifts.
