I'm a low-poo sort of gal - I use the matching shampoo about twice a week and this conditioner every time I shower. This conditioner rinses away very cleanly in my hard water and keeps my long, wavy hair smelling and feeling fresh, clean, and moisturized. I've always been the sort to buy a new type of shampoo/conditioner everytime I run out, because nothing ever had satisfactory results. Eventually I wised up to the fact that the SLS, parabens, and high quantities of alcohol in the mainstream conditioners were the things making my hair dull and frizzy and my scalp itchy and flaky. This product has none of the first two and very little of the third - and my hair and scalp are much better because of it! I no longer have to alternate with a dry scalp/dandruff shampoo. No more product hunting - I stock up on this stuff every time I see it on sale. As an added bonus, this product feels very cool and refreshing (mint!) after being out in the hot Texas sun. Give it a try! (By the way, I tried BWC's Moisture Plus, also, out of curiosity - too heavy and funky/floral smelling for me. If you're trying to decide between the two, I'd say give this one a shot first.) However, when I looked at the ingredients list on the bottle, it says right there as the 6th ingredient, dimethicone (and amodimethicone as the last incredient). This is more than a little misleading. I'll be returning this product and continuing my search for a good silicone-free conditioner, as I'm not really interested in having my hair "fake" being healthy. ('cones "glue" split ends together and gum up the follicles of the hair shaft, giving the appearance of silky-smooth hair but actually masking that it is unhealthy and dried out. Not as much of a problem if you have short hair, but hair longer than chin-length is fragile and needs actual nutrients and proteins to strengthen the shaft, not silicone stand-ins.) Comments about Beauty Without Cruelty Conditioner, Rosemary Mint Tea Tree, 16 fl oz: This conditioner was good. I had to use a lot though because the same brand shampoo was really harsh on my hair. It smells great. Too bad the shampoo doesn't work for me because I don't want to use two different brands on my hair.

Cons Best Uses
Comments about Beauty Without Cruelty Conditioner, Rosemary Mint Tea Tree, 16 fl oz: I need a light conditioner b/c I have oily hair that gets flat easily. This one is great-detangles, rinses out completely and quickly. Even though I put a lot of thought into my appearance and routine, I like for my steps to be efficient and take little time. The conditioner has a rich texture but the effect is light and clean.

Comments about Beauty Without Cruelty Conditioner, Rosemary Mint Tea Tree, 16 fl oz: The best thing about this product is that it does all of the above, and is natural and cruelty-free. It's almost too good to be true! I use it daily with the shampoo of the same brand and scent.

Cons Best Uses
Comments about Beauty Without Cruelty Conditioner, Rosemary Mint Tea Tree, 16 fl oz: I love this stuff. I'm currently doing "no 'poo" so I only use this, no shampoo beforehand. It works really well on my wavy/curly, thick hair and keeps the frizziness to a minimum. Most importantly, for me, it has a lovely scent while you are using it (not too medicinal, but a clean, strong herb scent), but the smell doesn't linger after you have rinsed your hair (strong scents in products frequently give me wanging headaches, so I have to be very picky about this). I think it's probably fairly expensive compared to the giant bottles of traditional conditioners, but I feel confident in the ingredients and think it works well. Also, as the name suggests, it's cruelty-free, which is always nice.

Cons
Best Uses Comments about Beauty Without Cruelty Conditioner, Rosemary Mint Tea Tree, 16 fl oz: This one doesn't work for me. As I said in my review of the Shampoo in this line, my biggest complaint is the smell. It is too strong for my tastes. It smells medicinal...feels like I'm massaging Bengay or Vicks into my hair. According to my boyfriend, the mint smell lingers somewhat, so that's something.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Beauty Without Cruelty Conditioner, Rosemary Mint Tea Tree, 16 fl oz: I have been using another shampoo/conditioner, but started using BWC once a week or so as an alternative when my scalp started to itch. The other product gives it more body and shine. This is very lightweight, too much so to use alone, so I use it along with the BWC Revitalizing Leave-In conditioner. It has a pleasant, subtle smell and does give my hair some shine. I would not use it as my only conditioner, but along with the leave-in, I will continue to use it occasionally. Cons Best Uses
Comments about Beauty Without Cruelty Conditioner, Rosemary Mint Tea Tree, 16 fl oz: I have very fine hair that is prone to greasiness, so I need a conditioner that is going to be moisturizing without weighing my hair down. To top it off, I tend to be sensitive to many of the chemicals in normal products. And this conditioner was the perfect solution for me. It leaves me my hair soft and shiny but not greasy or "heavy." It smells fantastic and applies evenly. I don't recommend this product for people who need a more moisturizing conditioner, however, since it is very light-weight.

Cons Best Uses
Comments about Beauty Without Cruelty Conditioner, Rosemary Mint Tea Tree, 16 fl oz: The conditioner is ok. It's not as creamy as most, it's more waxy. But it works fine, doesn't build up, rinses clean and does what it says. The smell is fine, but it doesn't smell much like the same scent of the shampoo which I really like, so that was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, a very good product.

Cons Best Uses
Comments about Beauty Without Cruelty Conditioner, Rosemary Mint Tea Tree, 16 fl oz: I was very pleasantly surprised after using this conditioner. I have fine, straight, thinning, color-treated hair and usually only use a conditioner once a week. However, I have been using this product daily following the shampoo. It not only smells great (not overpowering), it rinses out easily and does not weigh your hair down. It's a keeper in my shower!
