The directions on this bottle explicitly state it should be left on for 5-10 seconds; if you don't follow this direction, it won't work properly.
I bought it to replace a product by Neutrogena because I wanted one that was cruelty free, and I'm happy with my purchase. It does sting/tingle a little if you get it in your eyes, which the other never did, but it does work. I'm stuck on finding a good cruelty free lotion-style remover that doesn't leave my skin oily, and this one fits the bill. I'd encourage others to try it!

I have tried a boatload of natural eye makeup removers and this is the first one that actually takes everything off. I use crayon type liner and nothing ever worked on this, until now. I love that it's thick so you don't waste any on the cotton round. The first time I used it, I got some in my eye because I wasn't accustomed to the texture (it didn't sting), but now I know not to rub so vigorously! And anyway, you don't need to!

I usually use the liquid eye make-up remover but this time decided to try this one because it doesn't have harmful ingredients. My verdict is that it is ok, but not the best: it doesn't remove mascara (regular, not water proof) in one application, so I had to repeat, sometimes twice. Also, it feels weird to rub lotion onto the eyes, I guess it is just me being used to liquid. It stings just a little bit too. So, when this bottle is gone, and it will happen very soon (not more than 2 weeks) because of the need to repeat, I will be going back to my old yves rocher liquid remover. It felt good to use a natural product though.

I use this daily to remove my eye makeup, mostly mascara. It comes in an oily formula or this one, creamy. I like this one. Its perfect for my sensitive skin and works well wit alltypes of mascara. This is one of my beauty staples.

I bought this to replace a natural oil remover that ran out. I love the creamy texture, minimal (if any) scent, and gentleness of this makeup remover. I use it only around my eyes and it does a great job of removing my eye makeup without any tugging or extra rubbing. To be fair, I haven't tried this with mascara. It effectively removes concealer, eyeliner, and cream shadow after I apply and swipe with a wet cotton round. My eye area is left feeling soft.

I used to purchase Cliniques Naturally Gentle Eye makeup remover but have found i like this product just as much and it's a great value. It's gentle, not drying and works well.

I like the fact that it's not full of chemicals & it cleans makeup off your face quite well. Mascara is more difficult to remove & this product leaves residue under the eye.

I use this makeup remover daily and it works great. Just a little bit will remove all my mascara, eyeshadow, foundation, blush, and lip gloss. I love that it's all natural, not animal tested, and contains only vegetarian ingredients, which is important to all us veggies out there. Great formula, even makes my skin feel great after using it. I've been buying this for about two years now and will never use anything else.
