It has no fragrance, it goes on silky smooth, it feels wonderful, and it leaves my face glowing - not shiny, but with a healthy glow. I am 38 years old and have always had bad skin and feel that this helps to make it look smoother and prettier even without makeup. with makeup it's a perfect base and helps my foundation go on evenly. It is rather expensive, but is often on sale and lasts a very long time as you don't need to use a lot to moisturize your face and neck - maybe a dime to nickel-sized squeeze. I needed moisturizer, and when the store at which I usually bought it stopped carrying it, I thought I would try BWC. It absorbs well, and isn't greasy as so many SPF products are. I have very sensitive skin and I had no reaction, which is a problem I often have with facial products. I like BWC because the products are non-toxic and earth friendly. I would recommend it. I don't know if it was because my skin had changed, or the product had. I searched everywhere for a natural moisturizer with organic ingredients, which also incorporated a sunscreen and shea butter. It was not easy to find! The BWC daily facial lotion was just about the only one. I bought it immediately and I loved it. I only need to use a little to get full coverage. If you feel it is greasy, you are using way too much. This is not Oil of Olay where you need a palm full of lotion to feel moisturized. I have to wait a few minutes for it to absorb before putting on makeup, but that's not a problem. This moisturizer is a keeper! The best thing is that she is actually USING it! She normally hates putting anything on her face. She also loves it and I haven't seen any breakouts. So it's all good. I live in an area that gets very cold in the winter but also very hot in the summer and I find that this lotion is perfect! This will last and that it good b/c this is a little pricey for a face lotion. Works well for me but seems to take a while to feel like it has absorbed all the way before I put on my makeup.
