I keep trying natural shampoos even though the results are usually disappointing. This one was a great surprise. It hasn't dried out my hair even though I've gone too long without a trim, yet I can go two days without washing and not get super greasy. My hair has stayed shiny, and I've noticed an improvement in volume as well. If you like synthetic floral/fruity fragrances, the natural lavender scent of this shampoo might not do it for you, but I find it pleasant.

I like that this shampoo is all natural and doesn't contain any harsh chemicals (like salon products do). I have fine hair and really haven't noticed an increase in volume but I didn't buy this shampoo with that expectation. The shampoo does have a "unique" smell but it isn't over-powering in my opinion. I will be ordering this product again.

The strong smell was terrible - husband, cats and doctor didn't like it. Also made my hair dry and thin.

I use it daily. At first, I was not so accustomed to it, however after several days, I feel great! It's quite gentle, and lathers well, what matters most is that it does ADDS VOLUME!

I love this shampoo and the conditioner. The shampoo does not make my hair feel stripped or neglected. It has a great smell and leaves my hair feeling thicker and clean. I would highly recommend especially for folks who love natural products with a natural smell (not chemical or over perfumed). I use these products with my children as well.

Lathers great. Does not have a heavy scent. Rinses easily. Leaves my hair feeling smooth.

After what seems like hundreds of different shampoos, organic and not, salon and over-the-counter, I have finally settled on my favorite shampoo. I LOVE BWC. No parabens, no SLS, no "cones," nothing but good stuff that cleans hair and doesn't leave scalp zits. I wish I could find it at my local drugstore, but I do have to order it online or buy at local health food store - that's the only con I can come up with. A lot of people seem to complain about the smell, but all I can say is, I love the smell - it's very natural and essential oil smelling. If you don't like the smell of that, then you're not going to like this. Personally, I'd take a natural smell over the fake perfumy smells that nearly all salon or drugstore brand shampoos have. It lathers great and cleans well, and I have absolutely no complaints. My baby fine hair is very happy.

This is a pretty good shampoo. It adds volume to your hair and I like that it is doesn't contain harsh chemicals or irritants. The only downside is that it doesn't smell great.
