This is not as large as the picture shows.
doesn't drape over the shoulder points, doesn't extend down the back as far, nor up the neck.
Not suitable for emergency, as it doesn't chill enough

I love the way it feels..the heat is absolutely wonderful and I'd rate it 5 stars, but I've had 2 of them develop holes in the microwave and had to be thrown out. I heat it for 2 minutes which is more than the recommendation, but it works great for 6 months and then all of a sudden it develops a hole and the pellets come out and it's useless and has to be thrown out.

I really like these Bed Buddy wraps because I can use them at night when I am going to sleep without worrying about getting a burn. Unlike heating pads the temperature gradually gets cooler.
They conform to the areas that are painful and stay in place even when I move.

I ,too, liked this at first but then each time I used it, it started to scorch and melt. I even made sure it was always placed on a clean & dry micro surface.

I liked the standard Bed Buddy I'd used for awhile, and I thought this one might stay on my neck better. It did, but it didn't get nearly as warm with three minutes in the microwave. So, I tried bumping it up to four minutes (admittedly more than the directions recommended), and for awhile, this worked great. I started noticing some brown spots on it after a few uses, and I wasn't sure why. Unfortunately, I didn't figure it out until one day a big mass of charred rice came bubbling out of it. The kitchen smelled for hours, and the wrap was now useless. I'm going back to the other kind.

i use this item right before doing my rehab exercises. it's perfect! also use it for aches and pains in neck and shoulders. super perfect!

I've had 2 of these and they both developed a hole in a seam and started leaking. Otherwise I would love it. I kept the rice and will make a new cover. I have other bed buddy products and have not had this problem.

I've been heating mine, maybe 3-5 times a day for a year now. It's nice for warming up my bed and helps me go off to sleep. Wearing it around the kitchen in the morning warms me while I wait for the heat to rise in the condo. I also drape it around my shoulders or over my knees while I watch TV (I'm a 62 year old tennis player). It feels wonderful on my tired muscles. If my back starts to hurting I sit against it. I suppose any large bed buddy would work but this is easy to walk around with. It takes a minute longer to heat but then the heat lasts longer. It is heavier than the original but, as I said, the heat lasts longer. It may not be for frail old folks but definitely is good for me! It's one of the best things I own.
