It did not hold up, after a few uses the cloth started to show wear and the filling inside fell out through the holes. I personally use this product for tense muscles in my neck and shoulders. I love the fact that you can just pop it in the microwave, drape it around your shoulders and continue to get things done. I work a desk job, and this(along with pain medicine) gets me through my day. It also helps with the sore neck we all get from time to time. My only complaint is that I have to heat it up constantly- it doesn't stay warm enough for very long.

It is really warm if you heat it for two minutes- the maximum recommended time. I heat it for two minutes before my bed time routine. Then it is perfect by the time I actually get into bed. I no longer have to worry about falling asleep with an electric heating pad. I agree with a previous review that it is not a good cold pack- that's why only 4 stars. It does not get cold enough- even when left in the freezer for 24 hours. It also does not stay cold. When that happens the filling falls to each side of your chest and there is nothing left around your neck except to outside material. I have to tie it into a knot at one end to shorten it so that it will wrap my neck like it does when it's new. I also wouldn't be without my bed buddy and everyone in my family has their own!! I heat it in the microwave 1.5 minutes and then crawl into bed with it. Great relief for menstrual cramps. I use mine all the time, and am buying another for my boyfriend's apartment. I think it has rice grains inside; it says it is safe for kids, pets, and the environment. It has a very very mild, nice rice fragrance when heated. It is big and slightly bulky.
