I have had problems with acne since middle school. I tried many products (cheap and expensive, prescription and dept store), with varying results. Proactiv worked pretty well for me, but my doctor told me not to use while pregnant, and my face went haywire. It got even worse after I had my baby, and I still couldn't use acne medicine nursing. My husband ordered this for me (after one too many "well-intentioned" comments from others concerned about my face left me in tears). I was dubious, but it works very well for me. Now it's all I use, (followed by a plain oil-free moisturizer), and my face has been very clear for nearly a year. Not saying it will work for everyone, but for anyone else that understands how terrible acne is, it is worth a try!
Bonus: it does not wreck towels the way other strong face washes do.

Even before pregnancy, I used mainly "natural" (no pthalates, parabens, dyes, etc.) cosmetics/toiletries, trying to minimize the amount of chemicals absorbed from my skin. I developed severe acne (cystic and medium-size pimples on 75%+ of my face) during my first trimester, but still wanted a product that wouldn't affect my baby. Unfortunately this product just didn't do anything to clear my acne. I love the smell and the gel consistency though, so I would definitely recommend someone with mild pregnancy acne to give this a try.

Im not pregnant but I have so many allergies and sensitive skin that it is extremely hard to find products that I can use and that also work well for me, especially when I need a product to do more; like cleanse and treat acne. This works so well, my skin looks great, radiant, clear. I don't feel like staying home because of my skin. Also it smells great, just note that it doesn't foam up like people are used to which happens with natural products; that means its a good product.

After reading reviews and looking at price, I wanted to give the Belli product a try. I'm not pregnant, but have very sensitive blond skin. I would get a random blemish caused, I am sure, by use of products, or stress. Since using the cleanser nightly I have completely eliminated the issue of blemishes. My skin looks healthy and I use this with other good products to moisturizer, to include Clarins Santal oil and moisturizer. Couldn't be happier! I'm recommending to all my friends

I'm pregnant and was in need of a safe pregnancy skin care regime. I bought the Belli Acne treatment first and then realized I needed a face wash, so continued with the Belli line.
The gel consistency is nice and it smells wonderful. Packaging/bottle is also nice.
It's definitely not for people who have severe acne but I've been using it with my occasional breakouts and it seems to help out. I like knowing that I'm using pregnancy-safe products.

I've always had combo skin that gets dry in spots and oily in others, often causing breakouts. Started using this after I had to quit salicylic acid when I got pregnant. My skin cleared up so quickly on my chest, back and face. I especially noticed a difference on my chest, where my sensitive skin often broke out in little tiny zits. I'll likely continue to use this after my baby is born. Highly recommend.

I'm very sensitive to smell this pregnancy & have tried a few skin care products to help fight my acne prone skin. The light, clean scent of the face wash was very pleasant to me & still is after a month+ of use. Also, to rebuttle the comments about it not lathering, I work in skin care and the lack of lather indicates lack of harsh sulfates and other harmful chemicals bad for skin, and baby. So I was pleased to not only experience a clean, gel-like texture & feeling, but my skin isn't dry or tight after washing my face either.

I bought three of these but didnt see any difference with my skin. I just have to accept that hormons are the main culprit of my breakout while Im pregnant. Im not a fan of the smell either. I wished I stayed with doves or cetaphil instead but Im stuck with two more bottles of this.

I like this face wash because it doesn't have any harmful chemicals, but honestly it really didn't help my acne at all. I have had mild acne most of my adult life, but as soon as I got pregnant it was like my face exploded. I read the reviews of this product and was really hoping it would help. It cleanses well, smells nice, etc., but really didn't make any difference to my acne.
The only thing that helped the acne was when those pregnancy hormones started to subside at the end of my first trimester. Now I'm 6 months along and my skin is clearer than it has been in years.
I would recommend this face wash to someone who is trying to replace all of their conventional beauty products with safer ones during pregnancy, but just keep realistic expectations. The pregnancy hormones are really powerful and there might not be ANY products available that are both effective and safe to use. Just keep telling yourself that things should get better after the first trimester!
