The chewable vitamins have a good taste (something similar to cherry-orange). They remind me of Flintstone vitamins. We are ttc our second and I do not like to swallow pills (especially the typical large prenatals). I do wish there were more in a container. There are only 60 vitamins in each container and you have to take 2 per day. ALSO wish they contained DHA since that is an important factor in a babies development. I believe there is a DHA vitamin on the market, but it would be better if it was already in the prenatal vitamin (since DHA tends to taste fishy, I don't want a chewable variety of that).

I am not sure what I was expecting. Maybe gummies? These were gritty and have a bad taste/texture. I am not currently pregnant but I can imagine I would not like these even more if I were. I was disappointed. I am looking for a prenatal that is chewable but more like a gummy with NO crunchy sugary coating. Hard to find.

Comments about Bellybar Prenatal Chewable, Mixed Fruit, 60 chewable tablets:

This stuff is beyond disgusting. It tastes like fruity, sweetened baking soda. I couldn't imagine how someone with sensitive tastebuds as pregnant women are known to have could stomach this. The serving size is for two tablets and I could only finish one tablet before I decided this was going back. Blech!

Comments about Bellybar Prenatal Chewable, Mixed Fruit, 60 chewable tablets:

I bought these pre-natal vitamins based on the good reviews and because they were the most complete pre-natal vitamins that were also chewable that I could find. Bellybar does make a DHA chewable supplement as well, too bad drugstore.com doesn't offer it right now. The first day I took these one in the morning and one at night because I had heard that the iron would take some getting used to and could make you feel nauseous. I had some mild nausea that first day but that was it. Now I'm taking two in the morning every day since I never remember to take the one at night anyway. The taste isn't great but it's not terrible either.

I had incredible difficulty taking the horse pill sized prenatal vitamins. I started with the gummy kind of chewable prenatal vitamins until I realized that they don't contain iron. These contain the recommended folic acid as well as iron. I didn't have any gas or stomach problems.

Comments about Bellybar Prenatal Chewable, Mixed Fruit, 60 chewable tablets:

I take 1 tablet twice per day, usually right after eating. I am getting healthier in preparation for pregnancy and am taking these to get my vitamin levels up. It's been shown to be very beneficial to the long term health of your child to take vitamins before pregnancy.
These vitamins are extremely well made. They have researched the vitamin forms for optimal bioavailability. The flavor and smell are very good for a supplement containing iron. I don't find it chalky or gritty upon dissolution.

I was excited to find a chewable prenatal vitamin. I thought I was going to have the same type of taste as the regular vitamins, like a fun little gummy bear...but, alas, it was NOT the case. These taste horrible, you might as well chew on a regular vitamin! It has a bitter taste, I couldn't even finish the first one...add morning sickness to that and it's a recipe for a disaster! Read reviews on their taste, it doesn't matter how great they are if you can't swallow them!!!!

I read reviews before I buy. This time the high review stars fooled me. I have a broad taste in food and have few dislikes. It may be a good pre natal vitamin, but it is pointless to have a vitamin that tastes so horrible you fail to want to take it. It slow to chew and melt away extending the horrible taste experience of chewing this chalky pill which tastes like a regular vitamin pill that did not swallow on first attempt.

This is a great daily pre-natal vitamin. The Vitamin A comes from beta-carotene, and it has 800 mcg of folic acid. I like that the daily dose is 2 chewables. I have one in the morning and one in the evening. The only downside is the price. Because you take 2 a day, the price per month is about $30.00. (Sorry that the review says "Reasonable Price." I can't seem to delete it.)

After my weight loss surgery I was instructed to take prenatal vitamins. I can no longer swallow large pills so I thought these chewables would be a good alternative. Unfortunately they taste bad. Not at first but it gets worse as you chew. I'm ordering a brand that sells petite pills next time.
