My 88 year old father insisted the mail order brand through a wellness company was the best for his arthritic knees. But the price of it drove me through the ceiling. I researched all over-the-counter ingredients for pain relieving creams and compared them to the penetrating pain relieving cream that could only be purchased through a distributor. Ben Gay had the exact same three active ingredients, at the same percentage, but for half the price. It's disappointing when the elderly get taken in by the medicine men.

I have used it for years for even headaches and menstrual pain, don't live without it and recommend it to everyone. When I am stressed out I just rub around my neck and for headaches I rub a little on my forehead and back of my neck just don't put too much actually you should put a little because it burns if you do too heavy that is how strong it is. I have tried other imitations and was a waste of money.

I use this product whenever my arthritis flares up or I just feel my joints start to swell. I've tried many other types of topical oinment and none work as well as BenGay ultra strenth. I know people make fun of the smell; but when you hurt it smells just fine:) I prefer the smell of this to any other brands and after awhile I got to like the smell. Go figure. Wash your hands when you're done becasue you don't want to get this in your eyes. The directions and warnings are clear and so read them and use your common sense! A tube goes a long way and this is about the best price I've found anywhere.
