Comments about Betadine Solution, Antiseptic, 8 fl oz:

Recommended by a general practitioner and my podiatrist. It heals minor cuts, rashes, burns, scraps almost overnight. This is the stuff hospitals use to kill germs and bacteria on the skin. Yes, it's expensive and worth every penny!

Comments about Betadine Solution, Antiseptic, 8 fl oz:

Used when cut fingernail on spatula blade. Difficult and painful spot, deep cut. Used this product for a week followed by triple antibiotic and healed beautifully; avoided emergency room.

Comments about Betadine Solution, Antiseptic, 8 fl oz:

This is an excellent product and should be in every home. Twice I have used this product prior to making the decision to go to the ER for an injury that required stitches and both times received positive comments on how clean the wound was from the ER staff. The amazing thing is that something this powerful and germ fighting doesn't sting when being used.

Although the bottle says to apply to the wound directly I have in the past for hand or foot wounds added a few tablespoons to water and soaked the injury after cleansing to kill any germs and then applied it again undiluted before bandaging. They also make a cream that I wish Drugstore.com offered too.

It may seem expensive to purchase when you don't have an immediate need for it but it is priceless for when you do. It will always be a part of my First Aid kit at home and in my desk drawer at work.

Comments about Betadine Solution, Antiseptic, 8 fl oz:

Hospitals use this to clean patients before surgery. It is a nasty red/brown color and be careful not to get on your clothes. With that being said this is the best germ fighter I have ever known. Weather it is a simple scratch or a deep wound my family always uses this. It does not sting or burn at all. It helps fight infection. It does not have a strong odor. A little goes a long way. It can also be diluted. Amazing product. This has been in our medicine cabinet since the 1970's and it will stay there. I would recommend to everyone. Especially the clumsy people like myself.
