I have low back issues. I've had 2 lumbar surgeries on 2 different disks. I find if my back gets at ALL cold, it "locks-up" and I can't do much. Heat pads are quite helpful, but most are too expensive. I stick one of these pads on the outside of my boxers from the waist band down... and I don't have any pain... even when it is quite cold outside. I find they last for 12-14 hours... sometimes longer. A wonderful product, and great value. Cheap enough for everyday use, if required. I ski 40-60 days a year, and I'll use these anytime I think the cold will upset my back.

I have chronic pain from severe spinal degeneration and these provide much needed relief that meds don't help. I highly recommend them to anyone with chronic 24/7 pain as an easy to use way to keep pain in check, especially when being active. I've had no problems with their ability to stay in place either.
I use this product every day I work. It keeps me moving thought a 12 hour shift and beyond. I have used these for years and was delighted to find them at this site!
This product was a complete waste of money! I purchased several packs and they do not heat up. They get lukewarm for a few minutes and that is it. Back to Thermacare.
I was really amazed at how long the heat lasts it does last a long time and each time could have kept going but I removed it. It was very helpful as I was sore and in pain!
I really like this product. I have 2 bulging discs in my lower back. Sometimes at night they feel sore. These work great to relieve that discomfort at night. I attach the product to the inside the top of the back of my underwear since that's where my bulging discs are. The product sticks well to fabric. The item stayed warm for hours. In fact, after I took the product off, I put it on my counter until it was cool. It was still warm 12 hours later. Good product at a good price.

Works great! Took about 20-25 minutes to heat up but lasted well over 12 hours. Definitely relieved the pain for several days! This product is super for travel and allows you greater mobility.
I've been using these patches for a few years, since I have a condition that is not going to get better without surgery. I use them on the lower lumbar triangle. I have two herniated disc', which can give me a "fit" at times. If you use these patches, be sure and read the instructions, carefully. They can get very hot for a long time. Fortunately, heat is about the only thing that gives me relief from my pain.
Open the package and expose the pad to the air. No kneading or shaking is necessary. The pad will heat up within 20 minutes after opening.
Remove the paper from the adhesive backing to adhere the pad to clothing. Do not adhere the pad directly to the skin. Remove the pad immediately if it becomes too warm and uncomfortable.
Once the pad has cooled or you are finished using it, gently peel it off clothing and discard of it properly.
