I first used this product when vacationing in Maine and my back went into spasm. I came home and couldn't find the same product for a while. I tried other brands and even burned my back on one. Finally, I found the brand here and have been ordering it ever since. It works so well and much longer hours than advertised on the package. An excellent product, I don't know how I would manage, with my back problems, without it.

I don't understand why; but... the ones I purchase when I am in New York stick to my skin much longer and produce much more heat than the ones I purchase from this website. As I have stated, I use this product DAILY for 5 years so I think I am a pretty good judge. I can always tell from which pile I grabbed the heating pad from in my master bathroom every day. If my pain level is not that bad, I will use the ones I have purchased from the website - if the pain is horrid, I definitely use the store bought ones (which also are cheaper).
Great alternative to more expensive name brand products. Heats up evenly and quick. The heat last for over 12+ hours. Only con is that it doesn't adhere to your body.
I bought this product for coming cold weather. I know many people in Asia use this kind of product in cold winter days, just to keep warm, especially gilrs want to wear sleek dress but afraid of cold air. I always has cold hands and feet in winter time, so I was looking for this product to keep me warm when I need to go out, but don't want to bundle up with bulky clothes. So far, I like it. It heat up quickly and lasted more than 12 hours. I put it under my dress and it didn't move. It is very convinient to have one in hand, so you know you will not get a chill.

These heat pads are a lifesaver for those of us who can't use the brand name or store name products that are meant to be applied directly onto the skin. I use these frequently for back pain and I admit to using them sometimes when I know it's just going to be too cold outside.
While I have once or twice had a pad that didn't get as hot as usual or last as long, I have never experienced the problems a few reviewers reported of little or no heat.
I work in a warehouse where they don't like to turn on the heat. The conditions are very cold in the winter. It's hard to lift packages when you are freezing, and also if you have to wear several layers of clothes. This is a very effective way to keep your muscles warm and have the flexibility to work. Great for back muscle pain also.
Open the package and expose the pad to the air. No kneading or shaking is necessary. The pad will heat up within 20 minutes after opening.
Remove the paper from the adhesive backing to adhere the pad to clothing. Do not adhere the pad directly to the skin. Remove the pad immediately if it becomes too warm and uncomfortable.
Once the pad has cooled or you are finished using it, gently peel it off clothing and discard of it properly.
