For over 30 years, the product remains in its dry, powdery condition, free from lumps. And, more amazingly, it retains its effective healing properties. This powder is far superior to greasy antibiotic ointments in sealing and healing my cuts and scratches, in contradiction to the preferences of doctors and pharmacists. Only thing about ordering online is the packing isn't good. When I opened it the powder was opened and all in the box. Losing a good amount of the powder. Doctor said "try this", and handed me a tiny little carton of BFI medicated powder. I couldn't believe it; cleared up that rash overnight. Since then (33 years ago) I have sworn by this "miracle" powder. Can be used for poison ivy, heat rashes, chafed skin, blisters. My SIL (son-in-law) keeps a carton in his gym bag! Pricey, but darn well worth it.

I used it when I had a bad steam burn. It was very soothing, and is great for 2nd degree burns. I am 60 and grew up with BFI. Nothing beats BFI
