I am african american female and have been trying alot of different products to get rid of some strecth marks I have. This is the only product that has actually worked. Like all things it happens with time. I mix Bio Oil with a little bit of baby oil and use it when I get out the shower once a day. I notice a difference after the 1st month of using it. I will continue to buy this product. I LOVE IT!!!!!

I can't really judge this product because i didn't use it for a full 3 months...i have to admit after one month of using it twice a day i got really lazy!!!!! one thing that i found is that honestly applying this stuff is a chore!!!! by the time i was done rubbing it in my arms were just dead LOL and people think that this stuff spreads good I honestly do not agree with that! I feel as though you need to use so much of it to cover a large area...and if u don't use enough but your rubbing it in it kinda gives you a rash burn from rubbing your skin without enough moisture ...i used it for 1 month and i can say that i saw someeeee small results on really tiny stretch marks..and even some on large ones...with 3 months use it would probably be amazing ..if you can actually stand to apply this stuff for 3 months!!!!!! for me it was pure hell i HATED IT!!!!!! so now i just use Palmer's cocoa butter i get out of the shower and smear it all over me and boom im done....who knows maybe i will eventually go back to this for another 2 months ...but as for right now i cant be bothered to do it...
I had heard this product being advertised for a long time. Finally tried it and had such great results that I reordered another for myself as well as my mom. After only three weeks, my skin tone has improved. I also had some stubborn milia whiteheads that just sloughed off after using bio oil. Amazing!
I bought this after I had an appendectomy to help with the scar. I had been using another product with little results. I started using this and it seemed like over night my scar started to disappear. I also use it on my face - it is light and helps with driness and fine lines and wrinkles.
It definitely helps improve the appearance of scars, I have a cosmetic surgery scar and after using this product for the last 3 weeks it looks so much lighter.
This product should be used with great care or not at all!! I recvd a sample & noticed (I am an avid label reader) that the first or foremost ingredient is MINERAL OIL! Mineral oil is used in many beauty products & is detrimental to your skin & overall health in many ways....just google the HARMFUL EFFECTS OF MINERAL OIL & judge for yourself! As a health lecturer, I would never recommend a product with mineral oil (esp. as its MAIN ingredient). Prolonged use is never advised, so why use it at all. Healthy alternatives are coconut oil or any healthy nut oil & is more effective, esp. when A & E are added!!
I have no idea how it works on scars...but I suspect well. For dry damaged or aging it has no equal. I get into a hot bath with a clean face and smear it all over my face and neck...etc. and let it soak in., sometimes reapplying. If my skin is particularly dry , I will use it during the day. I still use a moisturizer and eye cream..but I credit Bio Oil with my skins recovery. First found it in Australia,so delighted that is available so easily in the states
