Like all things it happens with time. I mix Bio Oil with a little bit of baby oil and use it when I get out the shower once a day. I notice a difference after the 1st month of using it. I will continue to buy this product. I LOVE IT!!!!!

I can't really judge this product because i didn't use it for a full 3 months...i have to admit after one month of using it twice a day i got really lazy!!!!! one thing that i found is that honestly applying this stuff is a chore!!!! by the time i was done rubbing it in my arms were just dead LOL and people think that this stuff spreads good I honestly do not agree with that! I feel as though you need to use so much of it to cover a large area...and if u don't use enough but your rubbing it in it kinda gives you a rash burn from rubbing your skin without enough moisture ...i used it for 1 month and i can say that i saw someeeee small results on really tiny stretch marks..and even some on large ones...with 3 months use it would probably be amazing ..if you can actually stand to apply this stuff for 3 months!!!!!! for me it was pure hell i HATED IT!!!!!! so now i just use Palmer's cocoa butter i get out of the shower and smear it all over me and boom im done....who knows maybe i will eventually go back to this for another 2 months ...but as for right now i cant be bothered to do it...
Friend bought this bio-oil from Costco and was impressed about its performance and recommended to me. I waited until drugstore.com have this on-sale which is a few bucks cheaper than Costco.
I have been using this bio-oil for a month now and I am very happy with its performance. I have very dry skin around my leg and feet, showing cracks all the time. After using this Bio-Oil for a month, I found my cracks are less visible.
I have used Bio-Oil after I shower or bathe, sometimes once a day occasionally twice. It absorbs quickly and has a light pleasant aroma, which is not overpowering. But I haven't noticed any difference in my surgical scars, my cat scratch scars or my dark sun spots so I won't be repurchasing this product. It is more than I am comfortable spending "just" for a moisturizer. I am disappointed; I had high hopes that I could lessen the appearance of the scars from my two abdominal surgeries.
I got this on sales, it was a quick grab and i forgot to check the ingredient list and everything. I honestly don't like the mineral oil as the top ingredient. It smells good but it doesn't absorb well, I guess it could protect your skin but not really moisturizing it, i feel like it's staying on the top layer of my skin all the time
I use this with my Clairisonic Cleansing Brush and I really believe it makes a difference. I just add a few drops to the cleanser on my brush and let her rip! It leaves my skin super soft and glowing. Amazingly, it doesn't cause breakouts even though it is an oil. I highly recommend.
I really love Bio Oil! I am currently recovering from 2 knee replacement surgeries, and I have vertical scars, about 10 inches long, on both knees. After the incisions completely closed and my surgeon gave the okay, I began massaging the Bio Oil into the incision sites, in a circular motion. I have noticed a dramatic improvement in the appearance of the scars. They are not as red and large as they were, and they are slowly fading away. The only drawback to the Bio Oil is that it is an oil, so it will have a greasy feel, but once you massage it in and let it really absorb into the skin, you can wear your clothing over it without a transfer of oil onto your clothing. However, this is only used on my legs, so the fabrics used in pants or skirts are probably different from what you may wear as a blouse or shirt. My suggestion would be to try it on the affected area and see how well your skin absorbs the oil. Also, it only takes a few tiny drops of oil to be effective, so start with a small amount first and take it from there. I will next try this product on my stretch marks and see if it makes a difference, even though they are older scars. I have used Mederma for scar treatment prior to trying Bio Oil, and I like the Bio Oil better because it provides moisture and does not make the scar feel tight. Mederma gel made my skin feel so tight, like it would split if I bent the knees further, which is not good at all. Give this oil a try for scar treatment - it does what it says it will do for your scars!
