My partner took 8 mg for about a month and developed a twitch in her left eye. Had her stop taking twitch gone in 3 days. Restarted, after four days the twitch returned. I took 8 mg for about 45 days and developed a heart arrhythrmia that stopped after is discontinued the uses but returned after a restart.

I have carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands & a friend recommended I take BioAstin. I have been taking it for over a month (2 in the morning & 1 at night). My hands are no longer hurting & I do not need to wear the wrist braces any longer. Nothing the doctor prescribed worked but this OTC has given me incredible results. Works over a prolonged period of time not instantly.

Disclaimer from me: I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, because I have only taken it for a few weeks. I think that it will get five stars with future benefits added. With that said, here goes: I take two Bio-Astin every day. It has been several weeks and thus far, I have noticed several things. Although I bought Bio-Astin for its potential allergy relief, it has not been particularly useful there yet. My allergies are still awful. However, as a serious athlete (weightlifter and rower), my stamina is greatly improved and my strength has increased in a matter of weeks. I no longer feel the heavy underlying fatigue that I used to feel at the gym. Part of this is because I am sleeping very well. My husband has confirmed this as I am no longer tossing and turning and kicking like a mule during the night. I changed nothing else but added Bio-Astin so I really do attribute better sleep to this. I will also say that my bad knee hurts much less. Finally, I am 57 with somewhat saggy skin due not only to age but also to serious weight loss. My skin appears to be plumping, reducing the sagging and the color of my skin is a very nice somewhat tanned shade even though I exercise indoors. I look forward to taking this product longer for even more health benefits. It really is one of those products that needs to be reviewed after several months but the fact that I have seen good things in several weeks bodes well for the future. Try it! Bio-Astin works. Not all astazanthin products are the same so buy from a reputable company/manufacturer.
