I bought this as an alternative to my usual Pure Protein powder. I was looking for something berry-flavored and this seemed to be the only one drugstore.com carries. The first noticeable difference is the size: just over a half pound of this product costs more than a full pound of the other brand. The next difference is that this product has less calories and less protien (30 cals and 5 grams less). Finally, if made with 8 oz. of skim milk, the flavor is dull and bland. I have experimented with adding an additional 1/2 scoop, which improves the flavor (and boosts the protein content so that it is the same as my other powder). I have not tried mixing the product with water or juice. I see another reviewer is upset that this has sugar in it; let me tell you that is acutally a reason I like this product. Other brands have artificial sweeteners, which are far worse for you than real sugar (unless you are diabetic).

I love this product, tastes good, easy to mix, and even smells great before you even get it to the glass. I mix it with a cup of skim milk, 1/2 banana and 6 frozen strawberries for breakfast right after my morning workout. I am full and satisfied until lunch time, and sometimes forget to watch the clock, because I'm still not hungry at lunch time! Great product.

I gave this a one star rating because I was disapointed to find out that this product contains sugar. I was looking for a whey powder that didn't have any sugar in it, and according to the ingredient label on drugstore it has >1g. However when the product arrived right away I noticed that the ingredient facts on the actual product shipped to me were different. It has 4g of sugar and the evaporated cane juice syrup is listed as the first ingredient of the 'other ingredient' list. This adds up to false advertisment in my opinion. I can't have sugar, so I won't even be able to try this out. Thats $$ down the drain! Thanks alot.
