We love the fact that it doesn't contain any harsh chemicals, doesn't burn my eyes and doesn't have an offending chlorine smell (like Cascade) - in fact, it has no smell. That said, it does a very decent job cleaning light pre-rinsed loads, but works horribly with heavy loads. We have no choice, but continue to use Cascade for those, but will happily use Bi-O-Kleen for regular loads, until we find another natural dish gel that can do the work of both.

I think this product is terrible. I was really excited about it, but it doesn't clean my dishes at all and leaves a film all over everything.

Comments about biokleen Automatic Dish Gel, Phosphate and Chlorine Free, 64 fl oz:
This product is lacking the chemicals that gets spots off, but that is a good thing. Don't use this under the impression that you're going to get the same end result as the chemicals. What you do get is clean dishes without funky chemicals. The smell of the cleaner is great and all natural. I love this stuff!
Comments about biokleen Automatic Dish Gel, Phosphate and Chlorine Free, 64 fl oz:
It's a great product and good for the environment. But it gets half as many loads done per container as the same brand powder. I forgot, with liquid detergents you are paying for lots of water. Always buy the Bi-O-Kleen automatic dish washing powder. It's not as heavy and does twice as many loads as the liquid!

Comments about biokleen Automatic Dish Gel, Phosphate and Chlorine Free, 64 fl oz:
I love the smell of this, it lingers in the dishwasher and I can smell it when I walk by, but it only works really well on light washes, and not so great on glass. It suits my purposes, though, it's not that hard to rinse dishes before they go in the washer or wash the stray ones that still have film by hand.
Comments about biokleen Automatic Dish Gel, Phosphate and Chlorine Free, 64 fl oz:
I rarely give a bad review but I must do it on this product. This product doesn't clean well at all and it leaves a milky-looking film on my dishes. The Mrs. Myers diswashing liquid is much better and I'm going back to that!
Comments about biokleen Automatic Dish Gel, Phosphate and Chlorine Free, 64 fl oz:
My dishes all had a residue on them after every wash, which I needed to rinse off with hot water. The dishes were not nearly as clean as with my regular brand.
Soft water & light loads: Scrape excess from dishes. Load dishes in dishwasher according to manufacturer's instructions, never crowding dishes. Fill cups 1/4 to 1/2 way (approx. 2-4 Tbs.) or 1/2 to all the way if you only have one soap cup.
Hard water & heavy loads: Fill cups half way (approx. 4 Tbs.) If you only have one soap cup fill 1@ to all the way. May require a rinse aid in extreme hard water conditions.
Difficult coffee and/or tea stains might need to be pre-scrubbed or pre-soaked.
