I don't usually write reviews, but I'm really excited about this product! I have used liquid Cascade for years and was pretty happy with it, but recently moved to a new home where the dishwasher takes only powdered detergent. I switched to powdered Cascade for awhile, but then noticed this brand advertised on drugstore.com. I am trying to gradually introduce more environmentally-friendly products into my lifestyle, so I decided to try this. It's hard to find products that are both safe for the environment and work as well as mainstream brands, so I didn't have very high expectations. Biokleen definitely surprised me, though! I have used it 3 times now, and it is definitely outperforming Cascade. My dishes have less residue and my coffee cups are whiter. I think I'm using a little more than they recommend, since I don't really measure. Other reviewers say using too much can result in etching and pitting over time, so I'm going to reduce the amount and see what happens. I also have been rinsing my dishes really well since I didn't trust Cascade, so I'm going to see what happens when I leave a little more food on them since the manufacturer claims it will still work well. Either way, I'm going to stick with this brand! I've already recommended it to my friends and family.

I use this in my dishwasher and my dishes come out very clean and it has a pleasant smell. This canister lasts a long time!

I was pleasantly surprised when I started using this product. It cleans the dishes better than the commercial powder brands I've tried, but has the benefit of being free of chemicals, chlorine bleach, etc. It does leave a little residue on the bottom of plastic cups turned upside down on the top rack of my dishwasher, but it is easily rinsed and this is not enough of an issue to dissuade me from buying it again. I do wish it came with a scoop. Right now I use a spoon to measure it out, and then put the spoon in with the rest of the dishes.

Best eco friendly dish-washer soap product! I've tried A LOT of them and this is the best. My husband has always complained that the dishes never got clean with the eco friendly soaps. I used this for about a month before I told him I'd been using it. He says, "Oh that one's great--keep using it"

I have been trying to use less harsh detergents and bleach in my household for the sake of our septic. This has been my favorite dishwasher detergent so far, and I've tried Biokleen, Seventh Generation, and Grab Green.

First of all, I'm not a fan of the tabs, and that's primarily what the other brands offer. I prefer controlled use over ease of use, and this product provides that. Biokleen Dish Powder also works wonderfully, and has a nice smell to it. Lastly, I feel that Biokleen is the best value of the three, especially when it's on sale.

Point in a nutshell, I'll join the "strangers recommending products they love to strangers" brigade.

Was looking for a chlorine free dishwashing detergent that did a great job and this is it! Everything comes out squeaky clean. It also smells great! Although the container is small it lasts a long time because you only use about a tablespoon each time. We are a family of five and it lasted well over three months.

Works great even with our hard water and ancient dishwasher. Lasts forever too! Makes me feel better that food is served on dishes that were not washed in a chemical bath.

I really wanted to love this product, but sadly it
does not work in my home. It smells great, but consistently leaves a white residue on all the dishes. I have tried using a small amount & have tried using a larger amount. There was no difference. I do recommend the Biokleen Bac-out and All-purpose cleaners. They work & smell great.

I have yet to find the perfect automatic dishwashing soap, but this one is just as good as any other with no harsh chemicals.

Powder works great and has a subtle citrus smell which is great. We had issues with Ecover leaving a build up on our dishwasher but this does not leave a build up and has actually helped remove what was left behind from other detergents.
