As soon as I got this I washed 2 loads of laundry so I'd have some clothes without all the chemicals. My skin is somewhat sensitive to chemicals and fragrances so I decided to make a switch. I got busy at work and ran out of clothes washed with this, so had to go a couple days wearing clothes that were washed with an inexpensive detergent. My skin wasn't happy, so I washed all remaining clothes with this product.

The scent is great in the bottle, and rinses out of the clothes completely. Some may view this as a minor drawback- my clothes smell like the dryer (I don't use dryer sheets). So I looked online for a solution; now I just soak a rag in white vinegar, put 2-3 drops of essential oil on the rag, and dry it with my clothes. I get a light scent of my choice without chemicals (the vinegar aroma is not noticeable in dried clothes).

My clothes are never heavily soiled, but I'm not a super clean person either. My clothes always come out clean and fresh. While I wonder how well this would do with heavily soiled clothes, I have no evidence either way, so I can't help anyone wondering about that.

I also like that it is concentrated, which both reduces waste and lightens my load when I lug my laundry to my apartment complex's laundry building.

I have been using this line for two years; that only means 3 jugs - it lasts THAT LONG. I am a family of 3 with a pet in a city apartment, so that translates to about 5 large loads a week.

The great thing is it also cleans very well, and I feel washes out pet odor and dirt, and it's very clean washing. My daughter and husband have fantastically sensitive skin and even the other ECO brands have left residue that they can feel and cause itchiness.

The only kind of laundry that I'm not sure it works as well as I like is the new material gym clothes...but no other detergent except the ones made just for that purpose do. Our favorite one WIN was discontinued and haven't found another one to replace it.

I'm not sure about is which detergent - this one or the cold water formula works better as they last so long, I can't remember how the previous one worked!

A fantastic natural, phosphate-free laundry detergent with a great lasting smell and awesome cleaning power. With a front-loading HE washer you only need 2 tablespoons of detergent per load and it cleans better than any normal laundry detergent I've ever used. Whites are whiter, colors are bright, gentle enough for delicate clothes, yet works great on heavily soiled items too. For lights and whites I use a little of the Biokleen Oxygen Bleach Plus powder and it outperforms any chlorine bleach for brightening without yellowing or harshness.

I bought a bottle awhile back and it lasted me almost a year. I saw that it was on sale so i had to get two bottles. It is a little expensive but so worth it because it is cruelty free. It has a nice citrus smell. Wish it would stay on the clothes though.

I've tried lots of "green" laundry products but this is the best. It cleans well, smells nice, and it lasts forever! No kidding, I had the first bottle nearly 5 months and I'm constantly doing laundry for 2 adults and 3 teens. My mother visited recently and asked where she could get it also.

Having used this for a while, it became apparent that it doesn't work well on clothes that had been sitting around dirty for a few days. I had to wash some pee-pee-accident underwear for my toddler, and after the wash, the entire wash smelled like pee pee. I purchased a lot of this detergent due to its great reviews, but I think I have to look for alternatives. Thought I had found the "one". :o(

I try to use eco-friendly products but most fall short. So far I am impressed by this product. I am an office worker so my clothes don't get as dirty as some, but for me it works as well as the best name brands. It smells fruity when wet, but when dry they just smell clean. The recommended one small capful works for me making this product economical as well.
