Surprisingly lightweight but very effective. My hair is fine and wavy and tangles easily. But by the time I rinsed this conditioner out all tangles were gone! It rinses out easily, too, a definite plus. Really softens my gray hair and makes it finer. You may still need something for a little frizziness. I've used it with and without the Biolage Age rejuvinating shampoo with similar result, although the frizziness is less with the Biolage shampoo.
