I really like Matrix hair products for my hair, so when I saw Biolage I thought it would be just as good. Boy was I wrong!! It left so much buildup in my hair, that it felt like I had a layer of dirt on my hair. I would certainly not recommend this product.

I wanted to protect my hair color. This product is light and clean, but so much so that it does not untangle the hair. It is OK when I am rinsing it out, but hair gets tangled when I towel it dry. I have to use another product to de-tangle. I like it because it is not too heavy, but I'll keep looking for another solution.

I have curly hair that can be straightened easily. This product was recommended by my stylist because my hair is also color treated. Biolage does not make my hair feel heavy. It smooths my hair so that I can manage it. I can tell the difference in my hair when I dont use it.

I agree with some of the other reviews. It made my hair really dry. (I thought it would moisturize at least a little since it IS for color-treated hair!) It also made my hair, which is already fine, flat and limp ... no body whatsoever.

Though I have a LOT of hair, it is very dry, fine, wavy, and fly-away. This is the best product I've found for it so far; the "weighing-down" is actually a very good thing for me. My stylist recommended Rusk, but when that ran out I tried this. Biolage worked SO much better for my particular kind of hair.
