Sadly, this staple company is making terrible products. I have used Biolage for years and cannot find any shampoos in their line that matches their (used to be) excellent shampoos.

I keep my hair permmed because it's a confused mass of cowlicks. I'm a cancer survivor and I call them my chemo-cowlicks.
For 4 weeks following the perm this is the only shampoo I use. Anything else fails to provide the much-needed hydration.

I have used this shampoo for years and just love it. I have nothing negative to say about it. I completely recommend it. It is gentle, tons of lather and does a remarkable job as well as hydrates.

typically I alternate between this product and others...and my hair always feels and looks the best after using this. i love it.

I like the product. It is so much better than P&G, Dove, Aussie etc. i have fragile, straight, thin hair. I wash my daily, so I need something gentle. Also, I have dandruffs. I need to clean them off. This product meet these two needs fairly well.

The only con I can think of is probably the product date. Matrix used a complex expiration date system so that I cannot tell when it is produced or will be expired. The bottle has some dirt on it though, but I am not certain whether it is an aged product or not.

When I bought it, it was on a 20% off sale. But now, it's buy one, get one. It should be quite a good deal.

I have used this for about a year...I have very curly african american hair and I can't say that I really like it. I feel that it is very drying on my hair. The one pro that I would give it is that it gets my scalp clean. It isn't worth the price tag.

Gentle, Refreshing smell, easy to use since I'm sensitive to strong perfumes.
My hair is often permed, and I've found that this is good to use frequently, without drying out my hair.
