I don't know what started it, but my cheek just broke out in these terribly painful pimples or sores. At one time I would have about 15 or 20 pimples grouped together. I tried everything that I was told to try and nothing helped. I considered seeing a dermatologist, but didn't have the money. On a whim, I saw this face wash and bought it along with the Biore moisturizer. By this time, my face was scarred from this problem. I decided to take some Biore nose strips I had laying around and instead of using them on my nose, I put them on my cheek. After taking the strip off, I noticed these large cork type things on it. I washed with the face wash, used the moisturizer and went to bed. The next day the soreness was completely gone and a lot of the bumps had diminished. I haven't had a problem with them since. The scars are still there, but I feel so much better! I've run into the problem of the stores not carrying this wash for some reason and the pimples have started again, so, as always,[...] VS Most Liked Negative Review Be Careful If You Have Sensitive Skin! I really wanted to like this cleanser, as I generally like most things Bioré. Unfortunately, this made me break out with painful cystic acne. The first time around, I wasn't sure that this was the cause. I stopped using it immediately, and after my face cleared up a couple of months later, I tried it again just to confirm. After only a few uses, the cystic acne started surfacing again. Comments about Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser, 6.7 fl oz: This cleanser is fantastic! I use this cleanser every night (it leaves your skin cool and oil-free) and then follow it up with adapalene cream or Clinique gel moisturizer (switch every night). It does leave your skin dry so that might be an issue for some, but using a cream/moisturizer (I use the gel moisturizer because it has no oil in it) after the cleanser should fix that issue. I know there are lots of mixed reviews but I really do suggest this product! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser, 6.7 fl oz: I am a women over 50 with pimples and wrinkles. Yeah, cruel trick, huh? I tried many products over the years. SO, I can live with the wrinkles, but the pimples are ugly. This cleanser feels wonderful, a little dab makes tons of soothing lather and 6 ugly pimples have almost disappeared in two weeks, with no signs of new ones "growing". My skin has not become irrated. However, it is winter, so in the summer it might be a differnt reaction when I am in the sun. Of course, the pool and sun seem to keep the acne at bay. Comments about Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser, 6.7 fl oz: When I purchased Biore pore strips, the box contained a coupon good for any Biore product, so I decided to give this cleanser a go. I have combination skin with an oily t-zone. I thought I could kill two birds with one stone with this ice cleanser since I had a little trouble with acne at the time of purchase and I do enjoy feeling a tingly cool sensation after washing my face. I loved the smell, but it completely dried out my skin. I was aware that it had salicylic acid, but my face became so dry to the point where it looked like I had applied white powder to dry skin. It was nothing a good moisturizer couldn't fix, but I had to apply much more moisturizer than I would have liked. I won't be buying this product again. Comments about Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser, 6.7 fl oz: It dries out my skin very well and I'm left with far fewer blemishes. I've tried everything and I'm nearing 30. I've tried Proactive and other acne products and nothing ever worked. If I use this and let it sit after I've lathered for 30 seconds to let the Salicylic acid work, then I won't break out nearly like I used to. I have to switch between my moisturizing cream rinses often, especially in the winter months, and I have to be sure to moisturize with just the right lotion after washing, but it's worth it. It's the only thing that removes my makeup and mascara. Nice product. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser, 6.7 fl oz: this is the only vleanser i have ever bought twice . i have tried soooo many other cleansers and this one has deffinatly been my favorite . the cooling clean feeling it leaves on my skin is why i love it . it does take off most makeup but you should use an astringent afterwards to get the little that it does leave behind . this product does make my pores noticeably smaller . i use it twice a day and i love it . the only con s that it does dry out your skin because it does deep clean . but i dont mind . i hate my oily skin anyways . Comments about Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser, 6.7 fl oz: I have an oily t-zone and medium size pores. I tend to get more breakouts around the time of my period. I only recommend it to people with oily skin because it will dry out your skin (not to much on me). It also smells great. I use a clean washcloth wet it with hot water and I add a little bit on one edge and start scrubbing my face in a circular motion then I wash everything off with hot water. I finally wet the washcloth with cold water and dab it around my face thats suppose to close your pores. Overall great product and I'm thinking of buying the triple action astringent to minimize my pores.
