I don't know what started it, but my cheek just broke out in these terribly painful pimples or sores. At one time I would have about 15 or 20 pimples grouped together. I tried everything that I was told to try and nothing helped. I considered seeing a dermatologist, but didn't have the money. On a whim, I saw this face wash and bought it along with the Biore moisturizer. By this time, my face was scarred from this problem. I decided to take some Biore nose strips I had laying around and instead of using them on my nose, I put them on my cheek. After taking the strip off, I noticed these large cork type things on it. I washed with the face wash, used the moisturizer and went to bed. The next day the soreness was completely gone and a lot of the bumps had diminished. I haven't had a problem with them since. The scars are still there, but I feel so much better! I really wanted to like this cleanser, as I generally like most things Bioré. Unfortunately, this made me break out with painful cystic acne. The first time around, I wasn't sure that this was the cause. I stopped using it immediately, and after my face cleared up a couple of months later, I tried it again just to confirm. Best Uses Comments about Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser, 6.7 fl oz: This product does a great job of cleansing the skin from dirt and oil. Since the product contains menthol it is extremely refreshing and invigorating. It can give a slight tight feeling after washing however, the feeling dissipates in a few minutes. My skin never becomes dry or flaky. It does keep my skin from acquiring many new bumps. Overall, great product. I would purchase it again but I am a product junkie. Pros

It has smoothed out my acne prone skin, but i still have breakouts. I use this with the Biore Skin Recharging Moisturizer. Maybe i need to use the astringent as well. I woke up sometimes with breakouts. One important thing is that you cannot skip a wash...you will break out if you do! This cleans effectively and contains the power of a 2% salicylic acid, the highest amount in most cleansers. Don't expect it to work miracles, but if you follow a proper skin care regime, this cleanser will work well for you. It smells good, looks good, and prevents breakouts. Everyone's skin is different, but I have tried a besquillion cleansers, and this is the one that works for me. You should give it a chance, especially if you are a teen like me with some less than perfect skin. Pros

I live in Florida where it’s super humid so this product works great, but I wouldn’t use it during the winter month. I gave up on Neutrogena because they do animal testing. I switched to Biore and this cleanser dried up the pimples I got when I used Wei East products (they're not oil free). This cleanser will give you a tingly sensation & you'll need a moisturizer or your face will feel tight, but that's with almost any cleanser. Right after using it the first night, I felt my face getting extremely tight. I had read in reviews about how this product has done that to other people so I knew it was a possibility. So when I used it this morning, I applied the Biore Shine Control Moisturizer after cleansing. It felt good at the beginning, but as the day went on, my face became more and more oily and had a slight burning feeling. It's the menthol that gives a good cool feeling. I tried other brands but they used to dry up my skin. This one's just right. The reason I was inclined to try it was because it cleared up my acne in my teenage years, when I used to live with my uncle in Europe. It worked then, and it works now.
