Pros:
Wonderful smell. I wish every product smelled like this!
Lathers wonderfully - Will last a long time.
No greasy residue.
Won't weigh your hair down.

Cons:
Stripped hair a bit too much.
Left hair dull, without any shine.
Left hair tangley (and I have a short bob).
Did not add any "umph" whatsoever.

I am fortunate to have thick, healthy, fine hair which is styled in a bob. This shampoo did absolutely nothing to enhance what I already have. Perhaps it may work if you have a lot of build up or greasy hair?

All in all... Not great. I use it about once a week, but won't buy another bottle when it's empty. I got it at a fraction of the cost--So, biggy!

I used this Shampoo for about 3 months. At first usage, it felt incredible because it smelled really nice and made my hair feel clean. I did not think, though, that it was going to really CLEAN my hair even off of its natural oils which are necessary for healthy hair! This product made my hair feel like straw. I could not run my fingers through my hair and I mean the hair close to my SCALP! The hair close to your scalp is supposed to feel the healthiest yet with this product it felt like I had just fried my hair from root to ends. My hair looked dull, almost like it was fake hair (with no nutrients). And no I did not overwash my hair, which can strip your hair off of its oils and end up unhealthy. I wash my hair two times a week and still got dried up! I was using this product along with the conditioner that comes in the Biosilk Silk Therapy Kit. Apparently the conditioner neither prevented the "cleaning" the shampoo did to my hair nor did it make my hair silky. Having the Biosilk Silk Therapy product in this kit probably tries to hint the dryness you are about to experience with these products ;) think about it. I WILL NEVER USE THIS AGAIN THERE IS NOTHING SILKY ABOUT THESE "SILKY" PRODUCTS. D:<

Bought this as a 3 pack with the conditioner and a HUGE bottle of silk therapy, I really bought it for the silk therapy and thought since I like that so much the shampoo/conditioner has to be awesome...its not. Takes a lot of product to produce a lather. Leaves my hair squeaky and straw like. The conditioner is even worse, it comes out thick but goes on thin and doesn't condition well at all, leave in conditioner is needed and when my hair drys my hair looks unhealthy. At least I got the HUGE bottle of silk therapy!

I have very thick, coarse, and naturally wavy hair. This product made my hair look and feel like straw. It is bone dry, frizzy, sticking out in every direction imaginable, and completely unmanagable. I have used it in conjunction with the conditioner and the leave in silk treatment. Plan on tossing all 3 in the trash.

Used it once and dried my hair horribly. It's the worst shampoo I have ever tried, And for this price, you expect it ot be good, but nowhere near it. Don't waste money or time on this.

This product did not work for my hair type. I have blonde, shiny THICK long hair. (about down to the middle of my waist) When i used this shampoo it made my hair greasy, but its not the first shampoo to do this, dull and seemed to make it appear darker. my hair also felt weighted down and heavy. I read some reviews, and i'm sure it worked for people who have thin hair or needed volume, witch are the two things I don't need. I'm not going to bash this product, but it did not work for me.

Well, I haven't had scalp problems with it, and it definitely made my hair fuller. My hair is grey and brown, about 50/50, and breaks off a lot, so I am hoping for improvement in that area, but the "fuller" look to my hair is nice.

I love this shampoo. I tried for the first time when my mother gave me a bottle. I have fine, color-treated hair. This shampoo gives me incredible body and beautiful shine, AND the fragrance is fabulous.

I use Biosilk's Gel and thought their Shampoo/Conditioner would work great for my dry color-treated hair. Not only did it not help, but it made my scalp dry and itchy (never had scalp problems). Before throwing out my husband used it and had the same issue...it's too bad, but Pantene Daily Moisture works great!

I would never have even tried this shampoo, or any of the products from this company because of all the horror stories I heard from the girls on MUA but it showed up in the box from my last order so I figured it was worth a shot. I sure would've been upset if I had to pay the ridiculous price for it, because after just one use I broke out worse than I ever could have thought possible all over my scalp and around my hair line, even my chest and back which have never broken out before; it took me almost a month to get my skin back to normal and I only used it once! But at least you know right away with this shampoo whether or not it's right for you.
