But I didn't expect it to be the answer to my hair prayers! I have fine hair that has a slight wave in it. When I blow dry my hair, the outer layer of it tends to get frizzy, while underneath stays smooth. This product really does the trick to smooth out the frizz and make my hair shiny and silky without weighing it down. I use a little before blow-drying and a little after blow-drying. A little goes a long way. And besides doing great things for my hair, it smells good and works great on my skin. It's not sticky at all, so I work any excess on my hands between my fingers and on the back of my hands, giving me long-lasting, silky smooth results. I truly think this is the perfect product. If I were stranded on a desert island, this is one of the things I'd hope to have with me! It did not bring a miracle but reasonably good. Maybe I expected too much. I think it adds little bit of shine when you applies it but as times goes on, it tends to make your hair kind of oily. Comments about Biosilk Silk Therapy, Silk, 2.26 fl oz: John Frieda's serum works just as well as this, but both don't last. Looks good when you first put it on but before long it's right back to dry hair.

Comments about Biosilk Silk Therapy, Silk, 2.26 fl oz: The only time I bought this product from Drugstore.com it smelled like alcohol. It was an old bottle. It is supposed to smell good. My hairdresser insisted that this be applied to dry hair, not wet. The tiniest amount is perfect. If too much accidentally comes out, I spread it all over my hands like I would a lotion and then run my fingers through my hair. Voila! I have thin fine hair and this stuff plumps it up.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Biosilk Silk Therapy, Silk, 2.26 fl oz: I think the girl below me tried to use this product as an actual conditioner. This product is great if you just use a tiny bit...it goes a long way. Use it AFTER you shampoo and condition your hair. Dont put a handful in or you will get the results of the woman below. Just a few drops, work it into your hair and its great. Feels great, smells great. I've used this product for years and I love it.

Best Uses Comments about Biosilk Silk Therapy, Silk, 2.26 fl oz: Normally I use Biolage shampoos and conditioners, but one time the store was out of the conditioner I usually use so I thought I'd try this stuff. It was close in price to the Biolage (around $14). This has got to be the worst thing I have ever put in my hair in my entire life. Even those dual Shampoo+Conditioner combos like Pert are better than this(and those are pretty bad). Usually when conditioning, I apply the product and you can feel the hair get smoother and detangled, but with this stuff it felt like I had some gunk in my hair and I swear it made my hair even more tangled! I spent twice the time in the shower, most of that trying (TRYING, not succeeding) to pull apart knots that kept forming any time I tried to run my fingers through my hair. Nevermind that the bottle design is not condusive to squeezing with 1 hand. After showering, I could not run a brush or comb through my hair to save my life. After giving up on the detangling (couldn't even think about blow-drying at this point) I threw it up into a bun for the night. In the morning I took it down and still could not work the tangles out. I haven't had this problem since I was a little kid and acted like I was alergic to a comb. So, back up into a bun it goes for work. Even in a bun, it makes my hair just look greasier, like the reason I have my hair up is because I skipped my shower alltogether. I hate to eat the money I spent on this, but this is reDONKulous. AVOID AVOID AVOID! Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend (1 of 10 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful?
