I "ve had many problems with my mouth in the past due to illness and medication. My mouth could not tolerate the strong mint and antiseptic taste of other mouth washes. They just burned! The Biotene rinse and the toothpaste do not irritate; they soothe your mouth and make it more comfortable to brush.

Helps when used before going to bed so you don't wake in the morning with a dry mouth. Consistancy is much better than other brands, but it did take a few uses to get used to it.
