I figured I'd try this since I enjoy the 'silk & shine' lip balm. This has a slightly sweet taste to it, but nothing that turns me away from using it again. It's not a solid balm stick, there is a small hole in the massage tip applicator and the balm goes through that. I really like this stuff! The balm is slightly thick, and seems to last on my lips. The massage tip is like a soft washcloth - it gentle massages your lips and can help get slightly dry skin off. Then again - at times the applicator can be annoying, I just want the balm - so thats why I gave it 4 stars.
The applicator of this lip balm is a good idea. If you have chapped lips, this can be a great way to gently scrub/buff lips and then apply balm and rub lips together for an affective pucker. The formula of the balm wears quickly though. But it's not greasy or waxy so I like that. I also use the applicator alone for buffing and apply a different gloss for lasting results but I wish the balm lasted. Tastes a hint of mint and I like anything minty.
I bought this product about a 2 weeks ago. I would generally apply it whenever I needed it throughout the day. I do have to admit it does everything it's supposed to do. And my lips are very soft now. It's very cool and innovating. However, it has such a bad aftertaste. I am not so sure that I will buy again because of how horrible it tastes. If you can manage to get past the aftertaste then this product is the one you want, if not try something else!
I was so excited to try this product for my peeling winter lips. After i figured out how to use it i realized the balm is too thick and gooey. It goes on pasty then wears right off. Im a big Blistex fan but this one just doesn't cut it.
I love this!! I couldn't figure out how to open it but it's so worth it!!!! When you open the cap there is a little rubber piece with a hole in it. You keep twisting the bottom until the lip balm comes out of the hold in the rubber. And the rubber part is supposed to exfoliate you lips!!! How cool is that!!! And it smells so good but I just can't explain it!!!!!
