I use this every night when I go to bed. I have long nails, and that makes getting the balm out of the pot a little messy. But I'm willing to put up with it, because this heals chapped lips quickly. My lips were drying because of a medication I take, and they were chapped even in the middle of summer. This is the only product that got rid of my chapped lips.

I've used this product for up to six years. I used to have extremely chapped lips from winter (I live in NYC). They would even bleed. I tried putting this on at night and in just one night, there was a noticeable improvement. I continued applying it every night for a few days and it improved even more. It stays on throughout the night but may need re-applying throughout the day.

I've used Lip Medex for years as opposed to Chapstik, etc. A little harder to apply as it comes in a "pot" as opposed to a stick but definitely worth it - Moisterizes and reparis chapped lips much better in my opinion.

I've had braces for about 3 months now. And over time my lips get so dry from the irritation of my braces. Plus my mouth gets dry at times I can't stand it. My lips would get so bad that they would peel, get chapped. Even bleed because they would just get so irritated cause of the dryness on my lips. I got desperate and went to buy about 3 or 4 different kinds of medicated lip balm. And Blistex Lip Medex happen to be one in the bunch had picked out. I put this stuff on my lips and it felt so wonderful!! The relief that it gave my lips was a neat cooling sensation. So if you need your lips to relax and feel relieved then buy this because it's worth it!!!

I live in Alaska, it is not only very cold in the winter but super dry as well. This is the only chapstick that can heal lips that face the Alaskan winter! I only use it at night to avoid the germs associated with applying chapstick with my finger and use regular blistex during the day, but there is nothing like to to heal at the end of the day!

I looked for this product in every store I entered for 3 months after I used my last tub. It was either sold out or not carried. I finally found it on drugstore.com.... I bought 4.
