I don't know if this is considered a treatment balm but what a TREAT it is. With ingredients like coco butter, and aloe, the camphor is not strong to notice. It's spf 20 which I like as well. The cute jar has like a vintage feel. If they ever develop a stick version, it won't be the same, cos it's smooth, almost a creamy texture without being greasy or goopy. I also like the blistex medicated balm for its cooling effect but I especially love this balm. As soon as it goes on, I feel it working already and it blends well with lip sticks. I am really into lip stains this season and I put this on top and it will last a while. VS Most Liked Negative Review wasn't what I expected from Blistex I expected a creamier formula. Comments about Blistex Medicated Lip Conditioner, SPF 20, .25 oz: Of all the potted lip balms I've come across, Blistex Daily Conditioning Treatment (DCT) is my absolute favorite - and one that I've repurchased countless times. It provides a slightly cooling menthol effect when first applied to the lips and offers a decent wear time. The texture is on the thicker side, so I find the tasteless balm is best used as a nighttime treatment. I slather it on my lips before bedtime and, by the time I wake up in the morning, my lips are supple and utterly kissable. Lipstick glides on like a dream. I went without this product for about 2yrs. and my lips were never healed and always chapped, it was terrible. Then I started investigating the product to which stores still carried it and how I can get it to me again, that's how I came across drugstore.com and now I am sooo very happy again. My lips are always soft and never chapped, even through the toughest of winters. I have had compliments in the past from boyfriends who say that my lips are so soft. :O) THANK YOU!! Comments about Blistex Medicated Lip Conditioner, SPF 20, .25 oz: I forgot how much I liked this product. I hadn't used it for years, as I had switched to Burt's. I was comparing labels and I think they may have changed the Burt's formula. I also may have grown sensitive to it. Either way, I noticed more lip stinging and less relief from recent tubes. So I switched to Carmex in a tube, and found I had similar issues with it. After much searching and review reading, I came upon DCT. It is similar to the aforementioned, but more gentle on sensitive chapped lips. I only use it at home because I don't like the idea of contaminating the pot with hands not freshly washed. I wish it came in a stick, and I wish it were just a bit longer lasting. Other than that, I'm quite happy with it. I think it smells and tastes fine. Mostly it is used as a nasal application and does eliminate nose bleeds if used regularly. Can no longer find it in the stores but I can purchase through you at a minimal cost which is also a plus.
