I have probably tried every dry shampoo on the market ever since they started pushing these things, even baby powder.... don't do it. I hate the sprays, plus the ran out super fast... Ojon, Oscar Blondi, Rene Furter, Bumble and Bumble, and another I can't even remember. I then tried the Oscar Blondi powder, which smells intoxicating, but works pretty well. However, the Blow Out dry shampoo smells neutral, blends pretty nicely, and probably absorbs oils the best. Very happy with my purchase.

Absorbs oil but leaves hair stiff

This product was effective in absorbing the oil in my hair, but it's almost as time-consuming as washing my hair and leaves my hair stiff and feeling like it's full of talc powder. Now keep in mind that this was my first experience with a dry shampoo, so maybe this is how all dry shampoos feel. I was hoping that it would let me go for an extra day without washing my hair (I have to wash daily), but instead of feeling soft and clean, it feels stiff, so I would have to wear my hair up on the second day, and I generally prefer to wear my hair down.

Overall, I'll end up using this occasionally since it's better not to wash my hair every day, but I won't be using it as frequently as I'd hoped when I purchased it.

This is my favorite dry shampoo out of the many I have tried! The powder is so fine that it does not show in my dark hair.I normally put it in my hair before I go to sleep at night so when I wake up it has already absorbed all the oil from my sleep and im ready to jet out the door! not to mention, the bottle lasts forever so its worth the [$]

If I could give this product 0 stars, I would!!THIS stuff is AWFUL! It does absolutely nothing for your hair but leave a powdery film. And drugstore.com will not accept returns-BOO to them!!! So save your [$] and don't bother buying this!!!!

This product is a white powder, but still works well on dark hair if you're careful not to apply too much of it.
My big complaint, however, is that they advertise this product as being "Free of sulfates, parabens and artificial fillers" and right there on the bottle, not 5 centimeters away, is the ingredient list: propylparaben and methylparaben!
If you're looking for a paraben-free product, look elsewhere.

I would have to say I won't be buying it again as it does absorb the oil but leaves white clumps on your hair. Might be good for blonds, but if you have black hair like me, it's not pretty.

This product seems to work okay at least for a few hours, but for some reason I can't figure out the best way to apply it. It is white and powdery and makes my hair look gray even when I try to brush the product out through my hair. If I use too little, I don't notice any difference. I'll probably keep experimenting with other dry shampoos.

I have tried many dry shampoos, and this one is the best so far. I have straight, thinner hair that tends to look greasy on day 2 (after wet shampooing). Just gently squeeze the bottle and the fine powder fluffs out. Let it sit on the hair for a minute, hit it quickly with the hairdryer (this especially helps if u got a little too much powder in one spot) if u have time and then brush. Hair looks great and your out the door!

This product works very well to combat oily hair in the summer or in between hair washes. I love that the scent is not over bearing - I've tried some of the scented Stila ones before & the scent on those can be too strong. The powder is very fine so it's easy to work into your roots without looking like you just put baby powder in your hair. The design of the bottle makes it easy to work into the roots.

This is by far the best dry shampoo that I have used. I have fine hair and have always washed my hair everyday. Now I can go a day or two between shampoos. Love this stuff!!
No buildup, light scent, and it doesn't turn my hair "white" when I use it!

Was hesitant to buy b/c of the cost, but this is by far the best dry shampoo I've used. Doesn't have a strong smell like some of the others, lasts a long time, bleands well with hair (blonde), doesn't leave a powdery residue. Especially great for steamy, sweaty summers! Will buy again!
