They provide the best protection and last awhile... and this is coming from a natural redhead who lives in Texas. I've tried many brands and different types of sunscreens, yet in some cases I STILL got a little red, sometimes even burned. I HAD to find a good sunscreen that could last longer than 45 minutes or so because I can't always reapply every 45 minutes. And with this I don't have to. VS Most Liked Negative Review Heavy, but no oxybenzone Does not have oxybenzone, but takes a while to absorb and a whitish cast until it does. It was quite expensive per ounce. Will not be my first choice again. Does not have oxybenzone, but takes a while to absorb and a whitish cast until it does. It was quite expensive per ounce. Will not be my first choice again. Comments about Blue Lizard Australian Suncream, SPF 30+, Sensitive, 3 fl oz: My dermatologist says to use a physical sunscreen rather than the chemical that is in most moisturizers. This pretty much matches the ingredients in the sunscreen/moisturizer she sells under her own brand for 1/3 the price. Plus, it has tea, which she recommended for my rosacea. Blue Lizard does go on white but disappears shortly. I don't feel the need for either a separate moisturizer or primer. Makeup goes on great over it. Be sure to put it on your throat, chest and hands too! Pros

Comments about Blue Lizard Australian Suncream, SPF 30+, Sensitive, 3 fl oz: Blue Lizard makes great sun protection products. Safe but effective ingredients. It is a thicker cream but goes on, and rubs in nicely. Glad Drugstore.com carries these products because I cant find them in retail locations anymore. Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Blue Lizard Australian Suncream, SPF 30+, Sensitive, 3 fl oz: I tried this product for a trip to a local amusement park. It was sunny and in the upper 70's, low 80's. We got a late start and I applied the sunscreen just before we got in the car. About 25 minutes later we arrived at the park. 20 minutes into our park trip, I was already burning. I reapplied the sunscreen. An hour later, we left the park due to a sick child. The stuff doesn't last one hour, much less the two I was using it. Had I needed it for an afternoon of protection, there was NO way it was going to happen. Pros

Comments about Blue Lizard Australian Suncream, SPF 30+, Sensitive, 3 fl oz: My daughter has an autoimmune disorder that requires her to wear sunscreen every day that she ventures outside - even in the middle of winter. After developing a rash from other products, our pediatrician recommended that we try Blue Lizard and we could not be happier! The product rubs in easily, has no smell and best of all - no skin rashes. Not to mention it is so nice to actually be able to read and pronounce the active ingredients on the label. Pros

Comments about Blue Lizard Australian Suncream, SPF 30+, Sensitive, 3 fl oz: Good travel size, can be carried on an airplane. Even though it is 'only' a #30, it is better than any other sunscreen used. I would recommend all the Blue Lizard Sun Screen. There would be no sunburn if everyone used this product. Pros

Comments about Blue Lizard Australian Suncream, SPF 30+, Sensitive, 3 fl oz: This is based on opaque white zinc cream which physically, rather than chemically blocks out UVA/B rays. Traditionally Zinc cream leaves a thick white coating but because they processed it into tiny nanoparticles, this cream very nearly dissapears into your skin. There is just the slightest hint of lightening. There is no heaviness, stickiness or greasiness after it dissapears. I've gone kayaking for hours in the sun and there were no burns where I applied the product. Pros Cons Best Uses
Comments about Blue Lizard Australian Suncream, SPF 30+, Sensitive, 3 fl oz: I am so relieved it looks like I found my sunscreen! I have been allergic to all the ones I've tried over the last few years. I ordered this one and did a test on my arm with no reaction. The next day I put it on my face and spent sometime in the sun. No hives!!!!!!! Pros

Comments about Blue Lizard Australian Suncream, SPF 30+, Sensitive, 3 fl oz: I purchased this product for my face but just used it for my feet because I didn't want to waste it. When I used it on my face it would take forever to rub in and when it was rubbed in it looked heavy. Pros

Comments about Blue Lizard Australian Suncream, SPF 30+, Sensitive, 3 fl oz: This is great protection for my very fair skinned family. I have spent $$$ trying to find an effective sunscreen that didn't turn our clothes orange or break us out in a rash. ![]() |
