Please note: As bottle changes color when presented in UV light, the color of the bottle will not readily match the image on the website after shipping. UV light must be present for the bottle to turn blue. The color change dye that is impregnated in the bottles can cause a yellowish tint to the white bottle. This is a normal behavior of the packaging and not indicative of expiration.
Indications
Helps prevent sunburn. Higher SPF gives more sunburn protection. Retains SPF after 80 minutes of activity in water.
Warnings
For external use only. When using this product keep out of eyes. Rinse with water to remove. Stop use and ask doctor if rash or irritation develops and lasts. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Sun protection measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses. Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor. For use on skin only.

I'm so glad that I can get Blue Lizard Sport suncream at this site. I used to buy it directly from my dermatologist but her office is always out of stock anymore. We live and play at a lake and often visit the Texas coast. I have a fair complexion, sensitive skin, and am prone to skin cancers. Blue Lizard Sport really does the trick for me because it totally blocks the bad UV rays. I don't have to reapply for HOURS, even after water sports. It is too greasy for the face, though, so I use the facial product (every single day) by Blue Lizard. This brand is from Australia and the Aussies really know how to battle sun damage. Their government does not allow claims of more than 30 SPF protection, so that is why you do not see more than 30+SPF protection advertised on Blue Lizard creams. I used some name brand SPF50+ creams and got burned within an hour or so (even after reapplying). My dermatologist said that the "others" just do not work as effectively. The BL price is very reasonable in comparison.

This sunlotion really works for fair skin children. So I use it on my fair grandchildren and also on my olive skin grands! Works great! Nothing has worked better! They did not get burned at all!! A friend reccommended it to me. I recommend it highly to others.

Blue Lizard promotes this sunscreen as a zinc oxide sunscreen. This is misleading. Yes, it contains a very small percentage of zinc oxide. But it mainly relies on chemical screens, many of which do not provide broad spectrum protection. The misleading aspect of this alone is reason enough not to buy it. But the main reason I wouldn't use it is because it doesn't provide the protection I need.

Apply liberally 30 minutes before sun exposure and as needed. Children under 6 months of age: Ask a doctor. Reapply as needed or after towel drying, swimming or sweating.
