Comments about Blue Lizard Baby, Australian Suncream, SPF 30+: This is my second time to purchase this product. It sits at my patio door all summer, it comes on day trips, weekend trip, family BBQ's.Its used constantly by everybody. We slather it on easily. Some of our teenage family members complain because it goes on thick and white but within 3 minutes its unnoticeable and it still is effective after swimming and sports. Comments about Blue Lizard Baby, Australian Suncream, SPF 30+: We used to use Blue Lizard products, then decided to try something else (significantly more expensive). Despite the other brand being marketed as 'hypoallergenic', it caused my daughter to break out in a rash . . . so we're back. And I'm glad we are. Comments about Blue Lizard Baby, Australian Suncream, SPF 30+: This product was highly recommended by our dermatologist. Although the natural mineral ingredients give a little whiteness to the skin, this product spreads well and is long-lasting. It is excellent for small children and all ages, and we find it gives the best sun protection, better even than products rated at SPF 50 or 60. It is also excellent for people who might have allergies to other sunscreen products. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Blue Lizard Baby, Australian Suncream, SPF 30+: I use this every day and it is thin enough to apply generously without having to rub it in hard or for a long time. It has no chemicals like the typical sunblocks and isn't as much of a chore to put on as other comparable dermatologist recommended brands. I don't like the fact that it is fairly expensive and it would be nice if there were tints available to help blend the color into the skin. Comments about Blue Lizard Baby, Australian Suncream, SPF 30+: Don't let the initial heavy white appearance scare you. Just put it all over, wait about 1 minute and continue to rub in. It WILL absorb into your skin and give you excellent long lasting UVA/UVB protection. You must also be sure to put it on DRY skin or you will be rubbing forever. It feels sort of greasy at first, but give it a little time (5 minutes at the most ) and it will give your skin a lovely supple feel. Comments about Blue Lizard Baby, Australian Suncream, SPF 30+: My husband and children have extremely sensitive skin, and Blue Lizard Baby Formula Sunscreen works wonderfully for them. Not only does it do a tremendous job protecting them from the sun, they don't break out in a rash as they do with any other type of lotion. We live in Arizona and we use this sunscreen every day of the year. It is not the least bit greasy, it rubs in well and we use it very liberally so we buy it by the gallon. With a family of 5, we go through 2 gallons a year. Blue Lizard is awesome stuff, I recommend it to everyone I know. Thank you for offering this product at such a great price, Drugstore.com!! Comments about Blue Lizard Baby, Australian Suncream, SPF 30+: I was recently diagnosed with nodular basal cell carcinoma, a common type of skin cancer. With the right surgery, there is a very high cure rate, but it was still a scary moment. I decided to take the dermatologist seriously when she said that I (and everyone else!) should be wearing sunscreen every day - every single time you go outside, regardless of weather. As it turns out, not all sunscreen is created equal. Only those with at least 5% of titanium dioxide or zinc oxide will effectively block UVA and UVB from damaging your skin. Other sunscreens may reduce the effect of burning, but only the metal oxides truly block the UV damage. This suncreen has the highest percentage of BOTH metal oxides that I've ever found in a consumer product. Within 5 - 10 minutes of application, it sinks in to both protect and provide a good amount of moisturizing. Also, this is the only high-quality metal-oxide-containing sunscreen I've been able to find in bulk quantities. NOTE - A pump is included in the package, so don't worry about that! Comments about Blue Lizard Baby, Australian Suncream, SPF 30+: A little hard to absorb & spread, but be patient, 5-10 minutes and it absorbs itself. Moisturizing only AFTER being absorbed, but it can be mixed with moisturizer immediately, ideally, for dryish skin. Unsurpassed effectiveness.
