Please note: As bottle changes color when presented in UV light, the color of the bottle will not readily match the image on the website after shipping. UV light must be present for the bottle to turn pink. The color change dye that is impregnated in the bottles can cause a yellowish tint to the white bottle. This is a normal behavior of the packaging and not indicative of expiration.
Indications
Helps prevent sunburn and photodamage caused by UVA/UVB exposure. Broad spectrum with higher SPF gives more sunburn protection.

For external use only. When using this product keep out of eyes. Rinse with water to remove. Stop use and ask a doctor if rash or irritation develops and lasts. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Sun protection measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses. Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor. For use on skin only.

As a very light-skinned Southern Californian, I've worn sunscreen daily for over 20 years, and this is a very close second to the best one I've found. Blue Lizard's Sensitive Skin is my preference only because it's just a bit thicker.
According to my research, chemical sunscreens tend to be a bit more waterproof because they soak into the skin rather than cover it like mineral sunscreens do (and both these Blue Lizard products are entirely mineral barrier types). On the other hand, the safety of these chemicals soaking under the skin is not as well established as I would like to see. I find chemical types more irritating (especially if they are applied near the eyes -- since they soak in, they find their way into my eyes). Even more problematic is that they scatter UV rather than block it, and break down within hours as they do so. Finally, they do not cover the UVB spectrum as well as mineral based products. Avobenzone (a/k/a Parsol 1789) is probably the best chemical sunscreen, but it breaks down within 2 hours in the sun. One manufacturer claims to have found a way to stabilize it, but consumer groups say it still only lasts a few hours. Minerals do not lose effectiveness. They don't need reapplication unless you are doing something to wash them away such as swimming (and Blue Lizard seems pretty waterproof). I've gone out in the sun in Hawaii all day, including a dip or two in the pool, with no reapplication and no sun burn.
Blue Lizard is reasonable in price for fairly high percentage content of both common minerals used in sun blocks, zinc and titanium. The lotion is mild and fragrance free, making about the least irritating product for me I have found.
This larger bottle is less expensive than Sensitive Skin's smaller container. I find the differences between the two so small I opt for the Baby formula.
Finally, I find it cool that the bottle changes color in UV, just to let you know there's plenty of UV to be protected from.

I was really excited about using this product since I have a three year old and I wanted something that didn't have the harsh chemicals of the other sunscreen brands. It worked fine for my daughter, but I was disappointed with it, at least for myself. I have incredibly fair skin and I reapplied several times throughout the day, but still came home completely sunburned. Yes, I know you have to reapply regularly, but for fair people it's pretty much every time you exhale with this product. For the few times I spend the day at the pool, I'll opt for one of the brands that's truly waterproof - even if I have to deal with the chemicals, it's worth it to avoid the sunburn and potential health hazards associated with that.

We use this product every time we go outside. With a family history of skin cancer, it's the only one recommended by our dermatologist for the whole family! Works great! Normally a bargain shopper, it's all about the brand when it comes to protecting my family's skin!

My daughter has excema and this sunscreen did not "burn" like the others. Also, she won't wear her swim shirt this year and this lotion has been wonderful at protecting her in our SC sun. I have looked high and low for this and I am very happy to have found it here!

I have used this product on my sensitive skinned and pale little girl since she was supposed to start using sunscreen. It is the best. She doesn't mind it going on and it goes on white so know you have all areas covered and then fades away. Great protection and does not irritate. High zinc %. Have bought this product over and over.

this was the top rated kids sunblock a couple of years ago, when I started using it on my then baby. It provides great sun protection and doesn't sting her skin. In fact, it protects it from rushes and soothes it just as a zinc oxide cream would (since it contains zinc oxide). I don't use it myself because it's too pricy and doesn't get absorbed as quickly and efficiently so I can apply my makeup. But for my kid I only try buying the best, and this is it.

I was searching for a safe sunscreeen for my baby and bought this product based on the great reviews here. but it gave my little girl such bad rashes and her skin formed a very thick and hard layer that took weeks to heal. would never touch this product again!

A little goes a long way. It doesn't cause breakouts like the conventional suncreens do to people with sensitive skin. It only contains Titanium Dioxide & Zinc Oxide. I'm not sure why they say it is for babies. It works very well on people of all ages.
It doesn't rub in all that well, but you can easily see if you missed a spot. You just have to keep rubbing to make it disappear.

My boys have sensitive skin. As toddlers, the two oldest would break out something horrible with other brands, even the ones that were paba free. I got this @ the derm office & it was just wonderful! I thought it was a little pricey, but if you pay attention to the price of the other brands, they are expensive too & you go through them faster. It is worth the price, but be careful about certain sellers on the web. They are charging entirely too much for small bottles of it. The price here for a bottle that size isn't bad. A little goes a long way with this stuff & I don't have to reapply it. It holds up very well. I've applied it in the morning before we go out on the beach & being in/out all day w/o reapplying, they haven't gotten burnt. Of course, use common sense here & reapply if you feel it is needed. I've had a hard time finding it anywhere lately & I am glad that I was able to get a bottle to take to the beach. I now have a 1 yr old & he has a few spots of eczema & some of the other stuff just aggravates it. This stuff is so wonderful, I use it on myself too. I would definitely recommend it, especially to anyone with sensitive skin or with kids with sensitive skin.

my kids are all fair, my son would get horrible burns on his face even with sunscreen on. this is the only product that i can use on all 3 of my kids 1,3,5 and they are %100 covered.

Apply liberally to dry skin before sun exposure. Children under 6 months of age: Ask a doctor. Reapply to dry skin as needed or after towel drying, swimming or sweating.
