this was the top rated kids sunblock a couple of years ago, when I started using it on my then baby. It provides great sun protection and doesn't sting her skin. In fact, it protects it from rushes and soothes it just as a zinc oxide cream would (since it contains zinc oxide). I don't use it myself because it's too pricy and doesn't get absorbed as quickly and efficiently so I can apply my makeup. But for my kid I only try buying the best, and this is it.

I was searching for a safe sunscreeen for my baby and bought this product based on the great reviews here. but it gave my little girl such bad rashes and her skin formed a very thick and hard layer that took weeks to heal. would never touch this product again!

A little goes a long way. It doesn't cause breakouts like the conventional suncreens do to people with sensitive skin. It only contains Titanium Dioxide & Zinc Oxide. I'm not sure why they say it is for babies. It works very well on people of all ages.

It doesn't rub in all that well, but you can easily see if you missed a spot. You just have to keep rubbing to make it disappear.

My boys have sensitive skin. As toddlers, the two oldest would break out something horrible with other brands, even the ones that were paba free. I got this @ the derm office & it was just wonderful! I thought it was a little pricey, but if you pay attention to the price of the other brands, they are expensive too & you go through them faster. It is worth the price, but be careful about certain sellers on the web. They are charging entirely too much for small bottles of it. The price here for a bottle that size isn't bad. A little goes a long way with this stuff & I don't have to reapply it. It holds up very well. I've applied it in the morning before we go out on the beach & being in/out all day w/o reapplying, they haven't gotten burnt. Of course, use common sense here & reapply if you feel it is needed. I've had a hard time finding it anywhere lately & I am glad that I was able to get a bottle to take to the beach. I now have a 1 yr old & he has a few spots of eczema & some of the other stuff just aggravates it. This stuff is so wonderful, I use it on myself too. I would definitely recommend it, especially to anyone with sensitive skin or with kids with sensitive skin.

my kids are all fair, my son would get horrible burns on his face even with sunscreen on. this is the only product that i can use on all 3 of my kids 1,3,5 and they are %100 covered.

I was really excited about using this product since I have a three year old and I wanted something that didn't have the harsh chemicals of the other sunscreen brands. It worked fine for my daughter, but I was disappointed with it, at least for myself. I have incredibly fair skin and I reapplied several times throughout the day, but still came home completely sunburned. Yes, I know you have to reapply regularly, but for fair people it's pretty much every time you exhale with this product. For the few times I spend the day at the pool, I'll opt for one of the brands that's truly waterproof - even if I have to deal with the chemicals, it's worth it to avoid the sunburn and potential health hazards associated with that.

Our grandson has had skin reactions from every other sun screen product that has been tried. The Blue Lizard Baby and Blue Lizard for Sensitive skin sun screens are the only sun screens that give him protection without a skin reaction. A wonderful product!

This is the best Baby Sunscreen on the market!!! It goes on easily and protects for a long period of time. Even in water! I love it!!!

using it on our 5 month old twins. did a little bit of research on best baby suncreens prior to buying it. pediatrician agreed she liked blue lizard. couldn't be happier with product. only con is it is a bit thicker; won't stop us from buying it however.

I have to comment on the person who gave a negative review of this product, due to getting burnt after 5-6 hrs of use. You MUST reapply any sunblock on a regular basis, as stated on the label. This is at least every TWO HOURS for most sunblocks, as sunblock does break down in the sun. Even if you are not swimming, you need to reapply, so getting a sunburn after 6 hrs sounds normal to me if you did not follow the instructions.

Zinc and titanium offer excellent protection from the sun, I love the Blue Lizard, my only complaint is the greasy nature of the lotion, but it is meant to WORK and is very waterproof. I do not like that is has parabens in the formula still, while it's active ingredients are chemical free, it still has some parabens and other questionable ingredients.

Overall, very effective for beach use and for children.
